so im 10/11dpo tested this morning and got a bfn
and greeted with some nice af pains

my mate bought me concert tickets for tonight and has arranged us a limo there and back and obviously is looking forward to a girly night.

now this is something thats probably been discussed a million times but im just wondering what your thoughts are.

is it ok to have a few drinks before you even know your pregnant?

Yes. I would not got too mad, but would happily have a couple. I was on a hen weekend before I knew I was pregnant with dd. tested the Fri morn (was due on sat) and BFN. went away, had a few (but not the normal hen wkd amount!). No AF so tested Monday and got a BFP!! I just think you end up missing out on lots of stuff 'just in case'.

Yep. If there is an embryo present, it won't be taking anything from you at such an early stage anyway. Enjoy a few drinks.

thought if anyone will give me the brutal truth itll be the mumsnet ladies!
had a bit of a meltdown last night and oh told me to stop living like im pregnant and just get on with my life in the mean time.
obviously wont be going mad and mate is well aware of the situation.
but if im goin to be throwing my bra at ronan keating i need a glass of wine in me!
