Pregnancy blood test - 'non urgent' app??

I had a blood test and some swabs done to see if I was pregnant, had had a MMC or have an infection. Called for results and have been asked to see the GP but it is non urgent. Would they give me BFP results over the phone? Can't get an app till Mon at the earliest and its going to drive me insane!! Eeek!!

I'd try to get a phone consultation today - couldn't bear the waiting!

The receptionist was fairly blase about it and just said to make an appointment next week as it was non urgent. DH reckons it's just to discuss taking folic acid or something as we are ttc - surely if I was pregnant they would tell me asap so I can make sure I don't get hammered etc (not that I will, but you know what I mean
