Could this be implantation bleeding?

Hi ladies need some collective wisdom and advice. We've been TTC#2 for four months now. Last month I had three days of spotting before my period came properly on 31st December. I had LH surge on OPKs on 12th and 13th Jan and we DTD 11th, 12th and 13th.

Yesterday evening I noticed some dark brown blood in underwear before going to bed and I've had some further spotting this morning. If I count from the day of full flow this would have me on CD23/24. Took a pregnancy test and of course it was BNF

So I'm confused could this be implantation spotting or is it just lead up to AF? Also when should I start counting my cycle days? From beginning or spotting or beginning of actual flow?

Littlepic After nearly 20 years of AF, last night I found out that your cycle starts from the flow, not the spotting. So my calculated cycles are all off! No wonder I was getting confused about late ov having expected it early! So taking that into account, how long is your cycle?

If I calculate from day of full flow then the spotting started on CD24. I'm CD25 today. This is abnormal for me. Spotting last month started on CD27 and full AF on CD29. What do you think??

So you potentially have 5 days until full flow AF. This sounds promising, especially as it's now around 10 days since you last DTD. As hard as it is, I would wait until CD29. If AF is absent then test like there's no tomorrow! I have my FX-d for you!

I was going to test tomorrow but it might be a bit early so will endeavour to hold off until Monday...

Thanks Serious that's good advice. This whole TTC lark is sending me a little crazy. I won't be surprised if AF kicks off sometime tomorrow. Fx for a BFP for you on Monday.

Oh good grief. I caved and tested today! BFN. But not surprised!

Feeling extremely bloated today and breasts starting to feel sore. Could well just be PMS...just playing the waiting game!

Littlepic Have you tested? Just realised I don't have any left so will have to wait for DH to get home tonight...

AF due today. No sign yet...going to the toiled every half hour to check!
