DH and I have been trying for a few months for dc3, we decided if it didn't happen this month were going to take a break for a long while (my life and body is just returning to 'normal' dd1 is 2 and dd2 is 1 and I would love to do a degree with the ou, a dream that would be much more difficult, but not impossible, with 3 under 3).

I don't use opks and don't really know my cycle length, although know that pre dc my cycle was between 30 and 33 days. on cd13 dh went away for 2 days. because of dc we didn't manage to get any sex in before he went (other than on cd6 so highly unlikely to be pregnant from that!) before he went I said, oh its ok, there's no sign of ewcm hopefully I wont ovulate until you get back, and if I do, its ok, its just not meant to be.

On cd 14 I had some 'slime' when I wiped, it disappeared on cd 15 and I thought that was it I was out. But on cd 16 it appeared again, and much more on cd 17 and by cd18 it was back to slime which is still there when I wipe, although not every time (normal for me)

we had sex on days 16 and 17. Its doing my head in! I have no idea if I'm out this month or if there is a possibility I might be pregnant. I cant talk to dh as he doesn't understand, he just says 'stop worrying, there's nothing you can do now, we'll just have to wait and see'

I've decided there is no point testing until the 31st but I'm getting twitchy. I have a test in a box (moving house) and the only thing that has stopped me using it is the fact I'm so desperate for a wee when I wake up I have no inclination to route around searching for a test and I'm so busy during the day I forget to get it out!

So please, anyone in the know, talk to me about what ewcm should look like on what days and sit on me until the 31st. PLEASE!!

It sounds like those could have been your ovulation days.

Its hard to say really with not knowing cycle lengths. Have u decided not to use opk's?

I had similar CM this month. It's my first cycle, so still trying to learn about my bodily functions! But I had no CM for days. My calculated ov day came and went, still nothing. Then about 3-4 days later I god EWCM. Then nothing and a couple of days later, EWCM again! Luckily (somehow!) we managed to DTD every other day until a couple of days ago, and I'm now half way through my 2ww. Tested today (foolishly). Obviously a BFN. Need to wait until Monday...

We didn't decide not to use them as such, this is my 3rd ttc cycle and as were moving house (should have been before Christmas!) I just haven't got myself organised and then we decided to leave it if it doesnt happen this month, so there didnt seem to be any point (regretting now!)

SeriousStuff, resist the urge! Monday is only a few days away!

Hiya! Having been reading 'taking control of your fertility', this week my antenna prickled when you said about moving house. The author, Toni Weschler writes that stress (moving house is specifically mentioned), can delay ovulation. This could be why you experienced slime twice - your body was gearing up to ovulating then stress stopped it then it had another go. Would that fit with moving house days etc too?
I'm waiting for af on Wednesday, so trying to resist early testing too. Keep busy!

Hi, I've had a similar thing this month and have been reading up about it. I normally get EWCM around CD12, but this month it started around CD6 and really freaked me out as I thought I was ovulating early and hadn't had enough sex. Carried on DTD EOD and I'm now CD15 and the EWCM has only just gone, so I think i'm in with as good a shot as any this month. Sounds like you are too! I'd resist the urge to test until next week too, it might be too early to get a BFP which will just lower your mood and you don't need that stress if you've just moved house.

Hope you get your BFP soon, and good luck with the OU course!

:)

No we havent actually moved yet, But it does coincide when me and my dc went and stayed with my mum while dh went off for the week.

I desperately want to test, but keep telling myself that if af doesnt arrive on sunday, then I'm in with a chance! Thats only 2 more days so no point testing before then and if it doesnt come then there is no point testing till thursday as it will just be too early to tell anyway

Just a quick update to say af hasn't arrived, so we are in with a chance. Literally sitting on my hands to stop myself testing tho! Waiting till thursday.
