Should I POAS?

Looking for the collective knowledge/experience of mumsnet here!

I started spotting 5 days ago, light pinkish/brownish spotting with the odd bright red streak.

AF is due today, no sign, no cramping, but shooting pains in my fanjo. All spotting has stopped.

I didn't get morning sickness with DS until about the sixth week, so nothing like that yet. Should I POAS, or give AF a couple more days to arrive? What could the random spotting have been, other than implantation bleeding? I have a 28-30 day cycle and have never been early/am rarely late.
