so here's the thing ....... dp and i have been trying since xmas day ... (not long i know ) .. i have been checking my ovulation everyday but no ovulation has happened at all ...

I was due on saturday checked my ovulation again on sat morning and it said i was ovulationg .. so its now wed and i have not had my period ( usually like clockwork )..

i felt a little queezy yesterday (tues) so did a preg test and it came up with a faint (but definatly there ) line and the second test this morning did the same thing ....

does this mean i am pregnant ? and surely the test wouldnt show if i am only 4 days preg as i only could have concieved from sat !!

although the leaflet did say that if there was a line , even a faint one that you are "probably pregnant ".. im so confused ... AND EXITED !! but dont want to get my hopes up what do u guys think ??

Congratulations. You're pregnant. :)

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 23/01/2013 11:59

It sounds to me like you are pregnant. Could you get one of the clearblue digital ones (I don't really like them but it sounds like you need to see a pregnant before you believe it) maybe the ovulation test was wrong and you are a few weeks pregnant, is that possible?

CrackerJackShack · 23/01/2013 11:59

Actually just read that it's only 4 days...that doesn't seem possible. But it's rare to get a false positive. Are you sure it's not the evap line?

Or are you sure that you ovulated when you think you did and not earlier?

ShowOfHands · 23/01/2013 12:00

Ovulation tests show positive when you're pregnant as well as when you're ovulating.

No such thing as a maybe. You're pregnant or you're not. A line is a line is a line.

EuroShagmore · 23/01/2013 12:06

You can't be a little bit pregnant. A line=pregnant.

rockyroadahead · 23/01/2013 12:13

well i was really carful with all the test doingthem exactly properly and consistantly and also have dp to back me up on that one ...
I asked at the chemist while in tesco this morning and she said it is possible to get a pos after 4 days ... but she sort of made a face as she said it lol like its possible but rare ! ......

Whats an evap line ? there were 2 line the control and test i checked the leaflet to make sure i was reading the result right..... a few time !! lol

yep u can get a line on an ovulation stick showing ur pregnant, so it wasn't showing u were ovulating its showing your pregnant!

NoMoreMarbles · 23/01/2013 12:30

looks like you are pregnant then! congratulationsGrin

Honestly, if you're getting lines within the time, you're pregnant. And NOT from sex on Saturday. The ovulation test on Saturday would have been positive because you're pregnant.

rockyroadahead · 23/01/2013 12:52

i have saved it to my photo gallery ... do you know how to get it to this chat cant see where i can upload to !

Thats not a faint line at all, you are pregnant. CONGRATULATIONS Thanks

AlphaAndEcho · 23/01/2013 12:58

Definitely pregnant Grin when was your last period ?

FurryFox · 23/01/2013 12:58

Clearly visible line, congratulations Smile

MikeLitoris · 23/01/2013 12:58

You wouldnt have got pg on saturday.

The positive ov test would be because you were already pg.

When you say you didnt ov how were you checking? If it was just with ov sticks they are not at all reliable on their own. Have you been charting along side the ov tests?

MikeLitoris · 23/01/2013 12:59

And those aren't faint lines! They a very clear positives.

rockyroadahead · 23/01/2013 13:01

ah thanks for the reasurance .... i thought i was just getting over exited .. i cant understand why i kept getting a negative ovulation ...

OP posts:
MikeLitoris · 23/01/2013 13:02

I used ov sticks and never got a positive. Not even a faint one. Even on months where I got pg.

You have to take the test very close to ov iirc.

trikken · 23/01/2013 13:03

yup, pregnant!

rockyroadahead · 23/01/2013 13:05

yer only with sticks and checking mucus but couldnt see any consistancy .. i didnt chart properly though.. though i would be stricter with that if we didnt concieve for a while ... but to start fairly casually - or as casually as i can do it as im a bit of an inpatiant control freak ...

cant belive it has happened so quickly
