TTC on Metformin

Hi all

So, I've been TTC DC2 for 14 months (10 months of 'letting nature take its course', 4 of serious symptom watching). I was finally formally diagnosed with PCOS in Nov despite not having any evidence of cysts and started 1500mg Metformin in late Nov.

I hadnt had a period for a year, but got one on 19/12/12, lasting 5 days- all pretty normal! Then got the usual signs of ovulation around 3/1/13 (cramps, mucousy discharge etc) and thought 'wayhey! its working!'

Since then Ive had cramps, backache, moodswings, exhaustion, nausea but 5 (yes 5!) have all come out negative. Back in the day of normal periods I was on a 30 day cycle so would have expected to have greeted AF on the 20th. Cant see a doctor for 3 weeks so hoping to find some answers and support here.

Has anyone got experience of Metformin? Should my periods be more regular by now etc? And what are these symptoms?!
