My head is battered

Hi ladies I'm hoping someone can help as having experianced what I am currently going through!
Here goes, I came off my pill last month to try for baby number 2 I didn't finish my packet just stopped mid way through as my period had started a week earlier than usual, this month I am now 6 days late have done a test and it was negative at the time when my period was due I had all my usual symptoms but nothing to show for it, I have achey breasts which I did throughout my first pregnancy but with the test saying negative I'm driving myself crazy. I'm not one for going to the drs either as had a bad experiance when had a miscarriage before so don't really want to go there!
Anyone else had this problem?

hi misscow, it could just be delayed through being on the pill. If i was you i'd give it a few more days and test again or go to your doc's to get checked out xx

Achy breasts are just a sign of progesterone - which you get post-ovulation or when pregnant. So it could be that you have recently ovulated.

Ok thanks for that I suppose I will just wait a bit longer am just impatient I suppose and I didn't have this problem the last time so I wasn't sure. Thank you I will prob still live in hope that I might be pregnant :-)
