Anyone else find TTC awful after infertility last time?

When we TTC our DS (2) it all turned into a huge drama with a pcos diagnosis, no cycles or ovulation and we had to see consultants etc. After trying clomid without success we did thankfully end up conceiving naturally.

The problem is that we just started trying for dc2 and already (am in first 2ww) I am so down about it all being such a nightmare again. I should be coping better as I am having cycles and ovulating now so the situation is lots better, but the chance of just trying and conceiving easily just seems remote.

Has anyone else had this and how do you cope? Seriously contemplating sticking to 1 child as I can't cope with TTC Sad

Do you have to put do much pressure on yourself? Can you not just keep an eye on your cycle and signs such as CM [which are impossible to unlearn once you know them!] and just see what happens for a while?

Hey francesca , I hear ya. Took us four long, awful years to conceive DS1 20 months, we did it naturally too, but I'm dreading trying again, it all comes flooding back.

We've only just sort of decided to have a go, but I'll expect to get the bfp every month like last time.

Good luck
