Coming off the pill/tracking help

Hi,

Me and dp are hoping to start ttc at the start of April so I have been slowly getting my body ready.
I took my last microgynon pill on 17th Dec and had my withdrawal bleed on 20th Dec.
According to my test strips I ovulated on 5th/6th Jan and then I started my first real af yesterday (14th jan)
Should I be starting to track my cycle length from the first day of my withdrawal bleed or from the first day of my first real af?
At the moment I seem to have a short luteal phase, but was wondering if as I have only just stopped my pill and I still need to give my body time to sort out its cycle lengths until they settle.

Any help would be great as this will be our first so its all a bit mind boggling atm!!

I'd take it from your first "real" bleed as opposed to your withdrawal bleed. It may take a bit of time for your cycles to settle down, so I wouldn't bother using OPKs at the moment. There will be plenty of time for that kind of insane-making behaviour further down the line Wink

Thanks.
I didnt intend to find anything when i tested in jan as i was only doing a test to play (as u do!) and it just happened to come up that i was ovulating.
