Hello rocket!!!11!

Now this is how long I have been around these parts. I pre date Rocket who has a toddler now.

My mum has talked about lending us the money. But she has worries herself about money, given my dad's illness. My PIL, who are loaded, have not talked about lending us the money and there's no way MrA will ask them. Besides I don't think I could handle borrowing money to do it. It means people besides yourselves have an investment in your result, and as the odds aren't good anyway, I don't think i could handle paying them back for something which hasn't worked anyway. Or getting into debt for it, come to that. Imagine having a five/ten year loan for something which has failed. I couldn't handle that. I panic about money at the best of times, and we don't have a house to re-mortgage and already have a lot of debt.

Ah, we're quite lucky in that we have no real debt aside from my student loan and the mortgage - credit cards get paid off by direct debit. The mortgage is not too bad either as we bought our house relatively cheap and spent my inheritance from my grandpa on it. But yes, it would be hard to deal with the vast expense if it doesn't work.

At least all the tests imply there's nothing wrong with me, so I might have a fighting chance of staying pregnant if we can get to the point where I actually am.

My ILs would move heaven and earth to give us a chance, I know that much. And they don't think of it as a magical cure-all either, having had two failed cycles themselves.
