Morning everyone, just let me wolf down this amazing meal of tinned tongue, hardboiled eggs and ginger beer (don't you find food always tastes so much better outside?) and we'll toddle off on our latest adventure. I have booked myself a needling appointment this week so that HWCA's swimmers have the best possible chances. I am still too scared of seeking medical help, which I know is pathetic, but I am a full stone heavier than when they took out my implant and told me to try to lose weight and I would at least like to get to below my starting weight

GTT was fine. Nothing to kick off boredom like being told you can't do much. Watched What to expect when you're expecting which killed the two hours nicely. Well rounded representation of couples (two instadiffers, one long term TTCer, one looking to adopt). Not sure I could have coped with it when TTC though.. They plan to call me tomorrow if there is a problem but I see the MW in the morning so ill ask her to check my blood test results.

I saw some lovely kittens on a window sill the other day. They had come out through the open window and were basking in the sun. It was a high up window sill so I reached up and the girl kitten butted my hand and rolled around. The boy darted off and then looked back all wary-but-cute. So sweeeeeeeet!

Well they were kind of adolescents, if I'm honest. At the leggy, skinny stage.

I was supposed to be at the gym tonight. Instead I went out for wine and gossip with someone from our head office who is visiting. Oopsie. 2 glasses of red and dinner at 10.30pm is not exactly ideal IVF preparation. EC is a lot easier in horses - you just flush saline fluid through the uterus to "wash" the eggs out! However EC is usually done in mares because their eggs are being implanted in a surrogate. Not sure a few litres of saline is the best thing for our luffly linings!
