cm after egg fertilization

Do you still get the egg white cm if the egg has been fertilized say the day before or do you only get this as the egg is released, I think I have my cycle dates wrong and dh is away now!

egg white cm precedes ovulation and will disappear almost immediately. if you still have ewcm, you are unlikely to have ov'd yet. hope this helps.
