Hi Everyone.

I am going to try and keep this as short as possible

came off Implant 10 months ago, actively TTC for the last 3 to no avail.

Just invested in both the above as well as some Ov sticks as now i am thinking i may not be ovulating.

I know you cannot take the 2 together and wondered which one would be best for my situation?

I could be ovulating for all i know but would like to start one asap!

Also, if anyone has got a BFP with either of the above... or have any other suggestions please share!!!

Thanks

Sam x

Hi Sam
Do you have regular cycles? I don't anywhere from 56 days to 108, I started Angus castus hoping it would be the answer, it wasn't it prolonged my cycles to way passed 130 days, so stopped them, I think which ever one you start you need to bear in mind they can take awhile to get into your system. I'm not ovulating and now waiting for various scans etc, but may consider soy if there are some good stories on here. What ever you choose, good luck.

Hi, no my cycles are normal, I am just starting to get impatient, I have heard good and bad about both, I have been trying for 3 months now and coming from a very fertile family I cannot see why I haven't conceived yet! Poor you! Although I am leaning more towards the soy now as there seems to be a bit less negativity. Have you seen the dr about your cycle length? How long have you been ttc? Xx

Hi obv you have seen a dr cos your going for scans, well from what I have heard is that it's natural clomid, maybe ask your doc what he thinks? It may be something to consider for someone in your situation,I have been reading various threads on it and it kick started several different people's ov which lead to BFPs Grin I am wondering if being on the implant has stopped me ov or has caused me to start skipping months! So I wanted to give one of them a go to see if it helps x

I've read that SI's can mess up your cycle if you are already ovulating, because they can throw off the balance of hormones between the two halves of your cycle. I'd maybe use the ov sticks for a month or two first to see if you are actually ovulating or not. If your cycles are regular, you probably are ovulating. I know all about impatience though :)

Hi Moggle,

Well i ended up taking the soy iso days 5-9 as what i have researched this is the optimum time for someone who just wants to improve the health of the egg.

I tested with the OV sticks today and i got a positive...

I am new to this so does that mean that i am about to ovulate? as i am not due for ovulation till friday, I read that the OV sticks can detect OV 36 hours before, making my ovulation date right... seeing as this is my first month of trying to track my ovulation, i am only going off what a fertility chart is telling me? i am asking because i won't see DH till friday as he is away! :-( I hope i haven't missed my chance!
