We are going on holiday soon and want to delay AF, I have been given the above to take (5mg 3 times a day) by doc to delay AF. Although we are not actively trying, we BD'd unprotected this month on CD17.....my AF is due on/around CD30, and doc has told me to take the tablets on CD26....

I guess i am worried that by some weird freakish way i could have concieved on day17 and now will take some hormone tablets that will damage something!! Please can someone put my mind at rest and tell me to take the tablets and have a great hol!!!!!!!!!

Don't want to put a dampener on your holiday, and certainly not medically
qualified, but I work in the pharmaceutical industry and think you should
really discuss this with your GP.

I think if you read the patient information leaflet that should come in the
box with your tablets, it does state that you should not take the tablets if
you think you are pregnant or may be pregnant and in facts states that your
GP should make checks to ensure that you are not pregnant before starting
treatment.

CD17 was only on this tuesday just gone though, i doubt the doc would be able to tell yet surely? oh why did dh have to get frisky.....Blush a preg test wouldnt pick up until af due would it? But then it would be too late for me to start the tablets??
