Me and my other half have been ttc for a couple of months now after a little scare which made us decide we wanted to try. I am now on day 39 and still no sign of my period. It's driving me mad not knowing. As I calculated, my ovulation day was day 18, but I hardly had any cm and from about day 22 I've had it everyday. Anyone had this at all? I thought maybe I had ovulated quite late.

It's nice to come on here and chat about it, as it keeps me at ease. Think my best friend is getting bored of the baby chat haha

Yeah tested sat and yesterday. Gona test again Thursday, unless AF comes.

How long is your normal cycle? Is it 32 days? Irrespective of how long your total cycle is, the Luteal Phase (after ovulation before AF) is usually always about 14 days, so if your normal cycle is, say, 40 days then OV probably would have been around CD26. Fingers crossed you are pregnant but if not this time I recommend buying some Clearblue Ovulation Tests. They are quite expensive but well worth it - I got pregnant the first month using them. They take the guess work out of ovulation by telling you when it's about to happen so you can get straight at it! Good luck!

Hey rache1s. I've been using clearblue ov tests and I havent pin pointed it yet. It's not like the bedroom as stopped rocking for less then 12hrs haha I couldn't of missed it lol

I was on another conception thread where others were saying the same. I think some people's LH surge must be very brief! A few ladies on there were using the tests twice a day when OV was due to try to pinpoint the surge. I hope you get your BFP soon

When you say cm do you mean the fertile, egg white consistency discharge that you can stretch between your fingers, or just ordinary discharge? You wouldn't expect to see the egg white stuff after ovulation, so if it was that you may have ovulated later than you thought. Have you been on the fertility friend website yet? If not I recommend a visit.

Not sure on what kind it was, I never got to it quick enough to stretch it between my fingers lol it had always dried or was unfigerable (that sounds so wrong) haha

Hi, I read a post on another site from a natural fertility expert which explans hoe to tell your body's signs to tell when your fertilie time is. Hi Jellybean. I'm in the same boat as you. On CD39 and still no sign of AF. Have done two tests about a week ago and both were BFN
Desperately want to know if I'm pregnant...

I'm waiting til the day after day42 to test. I haven't got my hopes up, cos I've read so many things about people having a cycle as long as 73days not to mention still anxiously waiting AF

Totally understand your frustration, JellyBean - I had a good cry (and a strong G&T!) last night after testing negative on CD 42. I've had the same issue as you with lots of CM after the point at which I thought I'd ovulated. Stupidly thought it was a sign of pregnancy, then hoped it was just late ovulation but I'm now starting to think it's just my body being rubbish.

TTC is hard enough without cycle problems being thrown into the equation, which is what is really getting me down :( My two best friends stopped the pill the same month as me and they will be giving birth in February....
