So many acronyms!

Hi all,

I'm completely new to mumsnet and I'm trying to get some good conception advise, but I can't understand all your good advise due to the number of acronyms! What do they all mean??

Could someone please explain so that I can start to understand the mystical world of mumsnet??

Agree - I'm new too and the conception forum is the worst of the lot! There is an acronyms list link at the top but I don't think they're all in there.

Hello, sorry you are finding it all a bit cryptic.

Here are the main ones I can think of:

AF - Auntie Flo (period)
CD - cycle day
MC - miscarriage
CP - chemical pregnancy
MMC - missed miscarriage
BFP - big fat positive
BFN - big fat negative
EWCM - egg white cervical mucus

There are probably more..but don't be afraid to ask whoever you are on a thread with....everyone is pretty friendly around here.
