TTC - how long between c sections

We lost our little boy after an emcs at 27 weeks at the end of Nov. Just trying to decide how long to wait before trying again. Some sites say 3 months and others say a year to heal emotionally. Both my partner and I feel we cannot wait that long.

My GP was very vague - I've healed perfectly but just wondering about other peoples experiences.

Thanks

I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

I was under the impression that you are advised to wait a year. However I know several women who got pregnant not long (3 months to 6 months) after having a c-section and they had healthy, full term pregnancies and one even had a VBAC.

I would visit your GP again and tell them to give you a concrete answer. If they don't, then perhaps just wait until about 6 months, to be sure, and start trying again. That way the baby will be born over a year later.

But I'm no GP!
