Fingers crossed for a double bfp.

Sunshine2013Hopefully · 26/01/2013 12:30

Thanks for the congrats girls, I'm reli nervous now tho, this testing early lark just adds more stress, I'm worried I might have a chemical pregnancy! If I cud offer advice id say to try and hold off as long as possible before testing, altho I for one know that's reli hard! Thank god for this place!

TMI alert I had a little bit of bleeding last night but it was brownish, so I'm hoping it might have been old implantation blood from Wednesday?! Wat yous think?
Barely slept last nite worrying, but there's been no more bleeding so fx!

rooftop how r today? Did u test again this morning, did the line get darker?

setay hope ur ok, totally understand u raking a wee break from here. Can u and dh hav a wee treat like a weekend away to get ur mind off it and just relax? That was our plan if it hadn't worked out for us this month, we were heading to a spa for the weekend, massages, yummy food and wine can work wonders! Good luck xxx

sunshine I'm being unbelievably patient and putting off testing again till tomorrow. can't believe I've managed it!! hoping it'll give my body some time to produce some more hcg!! I got a pregnancy app and that said that a little bleeding in the 3rd week (which is what we are now I think!!) is normal so try not to worry too much!! I'm gonna keep testing and if I get good + by wed I'm making a Dr app!! Grin

setayharas · 26/01/2013 12:45

hoping2beamum · 26/01/2013 14:20

Sunshine that sounds like implantation bleed...if its brownish then i wouldnt say you need to worry. Fingers x'd for you. what day of your cycle did you start testing on?

setay lol.... have a great time at Ronan keating tonight & enjoy your few glasses of wine!!

roofio really hope you get your bfp tmrw. You've got the patients of a saint waiting for tmrw!!

Was anyone else really really cranky from 5dpo onwards? im like a bull at the moment and i know its because im feeling exhausted from about 12pm onwards but im starting to feel a little sorry for dh as im biting his head off at things i wouldnt usually.

Also has anyone used the first response 6 day early tests?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this and TTC!

I'm 25, my partner 26. We want to TTC. I have been on the pill for exactly 4years. When is best to finish with pill, currently I'm in the middle of a pack? Any tips for those first few months of trying. Warning - I'm über broody!! So excited, just like u ladies so nice to have somewhere to come to let out all the excitement. Fingers crossed for u all here! Look forward to hearing from you.xxx

Iheartcrunchiebars · 26/01/2013 16:14

Welcome sshhhh good to have you onboard! I came off the pill about 3 years ago and it took 2 years for my periods to get back to normal. But I had been on it for 13 years. One of my friends stopped taking the pill and was pregnant within a week so I don't think there's any set way. Good luck ttc! Xxx

Sshsecretenclosed · 26/01/2013 17:27

Thank you ' iheart'. I firmly have fingers crossed that I won't have problems getting my cycles back regular but I know if I did struggle there are plenty of other ladies on her who have been thru it too xx

Dowk31 · 26/01/2013 18:47

Congrats Sunshine it's lovely that you started this post and got your BFP!!! X

Sunshine2013Hopefully · 26/01/2013 18:49

Hi everyone, and welcome sssshhh, thanks all for the encouragement, it calmed me down a lot! I checked google and it said implantation bleed can happen 2 days after implant, which I'm sure I felt occurring on Wednesday! There's been no more blood so I'm a lot calmer now!

I'm planning to test again tomorrow as well rooftop hoping the line gets darker!

setay treat urself to lots of wine, and have a great nite it's well deserved!!

ssshh I came of the pill a year before TTC ( had been on for 10 years) I'd say it took about 9 months for it to get back to norm. Took vitamin b complex and evening promise oil from the start to try and help regulate my hormones! Good luck x

hoping I tested at 10dpo with the first response early detector, it wasn't the 6 day one! And I was extra cranky/short fused earlier as well, so mayb that's a good sign! The biggest signs for me, if it helps, was slight cramps that got pretty painful around 7/8 dpo ( implantation). Also my breasts tingled like pins and needles random times throughout the day from about 3/4 dpo. It was something i had never felt before!

Thanks dowk still in limbo at the min tho, don't want to believe the bfp too soon, incase it all goes wrong! So tentatively excited at the mo!

OP posts:
hoping2beamum · 26/01/2013 19:30

Thanks sunshine that's useful to know someone else was extra cranky as well!! I feel like it's an uncontrollable crankyness, very very short fused & emotional. Bbs haven't tingled yet or hurt but do feel full & heavy. Have terrible gas, burping constantly since 2dpo.
Hope your line gets darker tmrw, wouldn't that be a brilliant Sunday!!
I think I will try the clear blue digital test next thurs, going to go to my best friends house to do it at 8am as dh will have gone to work & she understands exactly what we're all going through each month!!

Hi sssh hope you get your cycle back quickly & your bfp just as quick!!

rooftop very best of luck tmrw with your test. X

roofio87 · 26/01/2013 20:25

shhh I came off my pill mid Nov,had a small bleed three days later then nothing until January 3rd. that period defo felt like a normal one though much heavier and more painful like I had before I went on the pill. next one due on wed but fingers xd I'm pg!!! didn't seem to take long for mine to get back to normal which was great. especially as I had some chemotherapy 2 years ago and my periods stopped completely for a while!!
yes sunshine hopefully my test tomorrow will give an even more obvious line. I got asked today if I was feeling broody holding my new nephew and I almost couldn't contain myself!! hope ur test goes well tomorrow too and we both get even bigger bfps!!! Grin

Sshsecretenclosed · 26/01/2013 20:27

Hi roofio,

Fingers crossed for u my love. It sounds like you've had a great experience coming off the pill, hope mine can be just as good! Xxxx

roofio87 · 26/01/2013 20:29

hopingtobeamum I have felt exhausted since about 5dpo. hoping that I am pg or else I don't know what's up with me. I used the superdrug 4 day early test and got a very faint line 9dpo. testing again tomorrow to make sure!!
where r u in ur cycle now?!x

hoping2beamum · 26/01/2013 21:11

roofio sounds like we had very similar experiences, I went through chemo as well two years ago. Hope you are also fully recovered! Thanks for sharing your symtoms, currently 6dpo, for the past couple of days I have felt the same tiredness/exhaustion that I can only liken to chemo but not quitevas bad. I am napping for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Will keep all fingers & toes crossed for your test tmrw, let us know how you get on!!

Had a glass of wine this ece, after two sips I had to run to the bathroom, huge wave of nausea & a hot flush just came over me.

This tww is hard!!!!

roofio87 · 26/01/2013 21:24

yeah hoping I'm sure you are like me and worrying about the tiredness. I felt tired all the time before I was diagnosed with cancer so feeling like that again makes me worry but hopefully its pg hormones!! I don't mind feeling rubbish for that!! fingers xd that nasty chemo isn't gonna stop us get pg,onwards and upwards!! Smile

roofio87 · 27/01/2013 06:50

yes I got up at 6 30 on a Sunday morning to poas and yes it came back BFP!!Grin can't believe it,so so exciting. I cannot believe it happened so quickly!! thanks for your support ladies you've been fab!!Grin

Iheartcrunchiebars · 27/01/2013 07:23

That's amazing!! A million congratulations. Xxxxx

Sunshine2013Hopefully · 27/01/2013 11:16

That's brilliant roofio, big BIG congratulations!!!

I did another test this morning as well, the line is a little darker, altho it's still light pink not the strong pink of the control line!
So I'm still not reli believing it! My af is due tomorrow or Tuesday so il see how that goes, then take another, then start to believe it!

I just feel so lucky, as this was our first month trying!

If yous don't mind, I mite just hang around here for another little while until I'm 100% sure!

This has been a productive thread, I think that's 4 bfps now, hoping everyone else gets theirs soon as well! Xxx

I know sunshine I'm SIL had her baby on Thursday and she said she didn't believe it was happening right up until he was born!! Haha. yeah I'll probs be lurking around a while too. I keep telling myself that its amazing we've conceived so fast as I was told I only had a 50/50 chance of getting pg so no matter what the good news is I can get pg!!xx Grin

hoping2beamum · 27/01/2013 15:16

Massive congratulations roofio & sunshine that's amazing news!!! Absolutely delighted for you both.

Fingers crossed the good luck keeps running in this thread Grin

cannot wait to poas!! roofio yes, it's a hard trek & the tiredness is a constant worry. Always at the back of my mind. I have AF type pains today (she's not due until next Saturday) & still incredibly tired....hasn't helped that dh chose this weekend to throw a strop for both days!! It's been a long weekend!! Bring on Monday!

Congrats again you two, I imagine it's the best Sunday ever for you both!!!

Iheartcrunchiebars · 27/01/2013 17:46

Hurry up Thursday! I am becoming obsessed with 'symptoms' that's obviously in my head!

Nausea....tick... But I ate 5 pancakes for breakfast
Tiredness...tick...except I am an insomniac so am always tired.
Windy....tick....see above pancake comment!!

Arrrggghhh!

hoping2beamum · 27/01/2013 20:00

iheart I'm right there with you in that boat!!
Hope those pancakes were scrumptious!!

Have never been so tired or emotional in my life...& these af crampy feelings aren't helping.

Hurry up Thursday!!!!!

Iheartcrunchiebars · 27/01/2013 20:28

That sounds very promising! I'm sure it will be a negative for me but have high hopes for you!
