setayharas Hope they don't keep you waiting for too long and work outs what's going on soon. Good luck with the wedding preparations Smile

I am currently in the middle of my first ever 2ww! Need less to say I've decided I am pregnant lol even if the odds are against me Smile I'm going to be testing on the 1st, the day my AF is due. I know this is very early but I'm due to be going out for a friends birthday so want to know either way if possible. Not gonna beat myself up if its a BFN as it's only my first month off the pill, but who knows Smile

Hope everyone else is doing well x

Hi Gillian!! fingers crossed for you!! when are you due to test?

Hows everyone else doing?

Usually i'd be a day into the horrendous tww now & slowly becoming psycho but I am going mad as i'm two days late now for ovulation!! Bloody Vitamin B6!! was only taking it for 4 days!! i wish it was the tww, at least i'd know that i had ovulated!! Dh pretty irritated by it too as he's usually off the hook for dtd by now, poor man has to keep going!!

Hope you all had a good weekend. x

Also my local boots didn't have pregnacare conception so I'm taking the superdrugs own equivalent.

Ever since I THINK I was ovulating and dtd, I've been having stomach cramps and bloating.. On and off for about a week now! AF not due for a week or so... Wondering if this could be a sign!!!!!

Hello lovelies! Please let me join too Smile

I'm 26 and my husband is 30. We got married in December 2012 and we are now TTC!

I came off the pill (yasmin) after 10 years in December, had my usual withdrawal bleed and had my first true period on 25th jan.

Hard to know exactly when I'm ovulating etc but dtd when I think I was ovulating and now already hoping I'm pregnant already... I know I know... It can take a long time but still.. Keeping fingers crossed!

AF due this time next week-ish.. Difficult to know for sure as I haven't had enough cycles yet to know if I'm regular.

IF AF comes next week, we will be dtd a lot in march Wink

Would love a November/December baby! Hehe Smile

Morning ladies, hope you all had a lovely Valentines day!!

setay hope you get that referral next week, must be terribly frustrating for you!

franykins are you using ovulation test sticks? I can feel slight twinges when i'm ovulating but i've never felt a pop. the egg can stay around for up to 24 after ovulation so i'd be jumping on dp as soon as he walks through the front door tonight!! fingers crossed you catch it!

is anyone else taking vitamin b6? I ran out of pregnacare conception on Monday but had a box of folic acid and another of b6 so started taking both on Tuesday. both are in the pregnacare conception & i was told by my consultant that B6 is great for conceiving. I am currently cd14, for the past 8 months I have always ovulated on cd14, the monitor is always at its peak cd14, cd15....today no peak. Ive tried to do some research on whether or not b6 delays ovulation but cannot find a straight answer!! anyone else experience this?

Happy Valentines day ladies Smile

Just looking for a bit of advice. If my cycle reverts straight to a 28 day cycle after coming off the pill then I was do to OV tomorrow. However, last night I woke up with slight stomach cramps, not as bad as AF pains but s similar feeling. Then I think I felt some kinds of pop on my left side. Now I've read somewhere that some women feel a pop when they OV. Has anyone else experienced this? DP and I haven't dtd this week Blush but i'm hoping we do tonight haha. Is this gonna be too late if I did indeed OV during the night? So new to all this ttc lol.

Hope you all have a lovely day/night xxx

Nah no referral couldn't get any cancellation appointments until next week so holding out! Thanks for the Chocs tho! Don't mind if I do!
Im still waiting for my peak on the monitor it's taking forever, getting bucket loads of Ewcm the last couple of days so better start dtd (iv been so lazy this month)

Good luck with the morning hanky panky last time I tried that oh fell asleep haha not the best feeling when I'm trying my hardest to e sexy and he's snoring lol

Guess we are all around the same cycle on here, so about to start the mental tww when we all turn psycho!

Hows everyone doing? it has gone very quiet on here since last week...anybody got any news? Grin

setay planning the wedding sounds like a fabulous idea & way of staying busy!! Nothing keeps you busier than planning your own wedding!!
Did you manage to get your referal for the gynae? sorry to hear you're in pain. Hope they can sort something out for you at the docs/gynae's. I can offer lots of chocolates & tea if that helps.

cd12 today & no high yet but DH very stressed with work so im a bit worried about his swimmers this month. I have read that stress can seriously affect them. might have to try & get him to agree to dtd in the mornings....slim chance of that happening

londonchick that app is brlliant isnt it! glad to hear you are over your cold. Hope you manage to find sometime together this week for dtd x

Hopefully it is all quiet because everyone is busy :-)

setay I would say go for it! Plan a wedding! Nothing better than a distraction when you're trying to get pregnant I reckon! I think that is partly my problem. I don't have anything to distract me!

Hey everyone!

Been a bit quiet here. Oh is home and got a high in Cbfm

Also been in excruciating pain this cycle again aswell as some dtd pain :( . Day off tomorrow so hoping to get an emergency appointment and try and get referred to a gynae finally

Because of this oh is talking about booking a date in the winter for us to get married, as a way of stopping my worrying about the possible endo and something to look forward to and maybe just seeing what happens on the TTC front at least until tests confirm things one way or another.

Not decided whether I can forget the broody feelings yet so dunno what I'm gonna do. Major breakdown over a glass of wine with my friends was annoy awkward last night lol!

How are you all getting on?

londonchick · 11/02/2013 19:37

Hiya! Sorry I disappeared for a while. Rubbish cold!!

Since I started having 'normal' periods after finishing the pill they have been shorter, less painful and lighter than before! A result for me!

I have also been trying to get fit. I have cut down completely on alcohol and I have started using the 'get running' app on my iphone. Really good although I need to start again after I get over this cold. Charlie Brooker has praised this particular app for people who aren't used to running and I have to say I agree although I do also think he is a God and am privileged to share a birthday with him!!

Possibly due to ovulate this week but husband is away and then I am working nights so I don't think this is going to be the month for me. Loving following all your stories though so please keep posting. Would love us all to have BFPs!

Hi all, hope you all had a good weekend.

startoftheroad I've joined weight watchers and find it so easy to do and follow. I've lost 2 stone in a year. I could have done it quicker but had several weddings and big birthdays this year, including my own, so I had a few breaks from it. However, over the last 16 weeks I've lost over 1 stone and 3" from my waist Smile I didn't start this with TTC in mind just wanted to lose the weight I've put on since being with my DP.

Thanks for the info on preseed Smile think I'll leave for now but may be tempted if things take too long.

On a good note for my I have noticed a difference in my discharge this week (sorry if TMI) so I'm hoping that my cycle will stay the same as when I was on the pill and this is my fertile week. From what I've read about discharge then this is defo the case Smile Lots of DTD coming up!

Hi All! How are we all doing today? Its Friday!! wooohooooo!! long week!!

How are you doing setay have you got a high on your monitor yet?? Heard that conceive plus is just the same as preseed but didnt know it could help keep the swimmers alive longer!! sounds promising!!

startoftheroad only tips I have for you are to try and walk for 30mins a day & to cut down on the stodgy carbs - esp after 6:30 at night. When i was trying to loose weight a few years ago I hid all the large dinner plates and just used the smaller ones for portion control. I also made sure i was getting 8 hours sleep a night, was told that was very important...not sure why but it definitely helped! Hope that helps! i also gave myself a treat day once a week so i didnt crave anything and had something to look forward to.

Anyone got any exciting plans for the weekend?

Just to let you no concise plus advertises itself as being the only lube that helps sperms viability. Apprantly it has minerals in it that actually help
Keep the sperm alive longer. Preseed doesn't actually advertise that. So may give that a try this month instead!

Report
setayharas · 07/02/2013 18:10

Preseed is a sperm friendly lube, it's meant to let the spermies swim through it and and people have said help them get to you Fallopian tubes (dunno how true that is) it coulda with kinda syringes tht you use inside you so it can help get the sperma everywhere. It's quite expensive £20 and you only get 9 syringes.
Loads of good reviews of people getting bfps the first month of using it although both of us on here didn't get us much luck.

I'm under the mindset of anythings worth a try! So it's really upto you!

Hi all.

startoftheroad Well that's good to hear Smile I always have choc cravings the week before AF is due so I'll have to wait and see what its like off the pill. Any cramping's I had seem to have stopped now but so has my withdrawal bleed so that's prob why.

hoping2beamum I good thanks, you? Well I'm on CD7 so nothing yet, but who knows when it will come and when my cycle will get back to a normal. I'm really hoping I'm gonna be one of the lucky ones coming off the pill and continue on the cycle I had on the pill hehe. If so then I should ov on the 15th according to my app. Unfortunately I'm going away for the weekend then but will make up for it during the week and then keep my fingers crossed!

How is everyone else doing? What is this preseed? I've never heard of it and is it worth looking into so soon after starting ttc when I don't know what my cycle will be? Would it be best to leave it for a few months and see what happens?

Hi all! how are we doing today?

did some research on those applicators too setay...Not sure i'll be buying those anal ones either haha. i think i am going to sterilize mine after use. I dont even use 1ml of the preseed so i have a tonne of it left but only 5 applicators. You'd think they'd sell the applicators seperately!!

cd6 here & due to start the SMEP tonight, anyone else on a similar cycle as me & going to be going insane in 14 days time!??

How are you doing franykins any sign of af yet?

Hope that bfp is nice & strong now iheart!!!!

So iv searched eBay for lube applicators for the pressed, it's about £6 for 2 anal lube applicators haha. I can assure u I won't b using it there! Recon it'll do the same job tho!
I also read that people boil theirs then re-use them.
I might buy some more and do that in the future if I have too. Fingers crossed I won't after this month

Thanks startoftheroad although not looking forward to sore boobs lol. How was your first normal AF? Is it wishful thinking I'll be the same as I was on the pill lol, they weren't too bad, however I'm sure my mum put me on the pill cos they were really painful!!!

setayharas I wish it was a symptom, but defo not I can be sure of that, hopefully next month, but again that could be wishful thinking too.
