Pregnancy test, help needed!

Hi, I'm new to this, sorry if my questions are a bit daft...

I am 8 days late, normally on the pill so usually skip my periods so not sure how regular I am tbh. I don't seem to have any symptoms other than being absolutely shattered all the time and having cramping for the past couple of days.. Could just be symptoms that AF is coming.

I bought a cheap test from the supermarket but I'm not sure if its worth testing yet... Can someone advise when's best to test?

At 8 days late you can test at any time.

Good luck! Are we allowed to ask what result you are hoping for?

You're 8 days late but not sure when AF should be here?? Try it now. If still no AF in a few days, try again.

You're 8 days past your normal period? Yes, I'd test now. I was able to pick up my pregnancy from several days before my period was due even on a cheapo test.

I have been off the pill for 2 months so I've worked it out from my last period but as I have been on the pill and normally skip that time of month I'm unsure how regular I am. Hope that makes sense.

I am hoping it's positive but judging by the lack of symptoms I think my body may just be playing tricks on me...

I'm working just now but I think I will do it when I get in, I wouldn't be able to drink tonight if I wait until tomorrow....just in case...

I wish AF would arrive for me too!! At least I would have a reason for this bloating, cramping and now nausea!

We will have a positive outlook for 2013 ladies...this will be our year Grin

chewing hopefully your DP can meet his end of the deal so to speak, we had this issue a while back, never really found out the reasoning behind it but its sorted now...I hope!

Hey Dolly if you have those symptoms I'd test again - the level of hormone doubles each day so you may now be a positive. Might be worth trying a first response test?
