So much patience! My af was also due yesterday but I tested on Thursday and got a BFP. I feel like I've been pregnant for ever alreAdy. If I had waited to test I could have drunk on Friday night! Probably best I didn't...

Aghhhh should have bought a better brand - supermarket own and the control window did nt get a line even though there was a faint bfp line - not enough evidence to be sure (even though I think I am in my head...) testing in the morning with the other one in the pack and if not will go and buy a better one! Aghhhh

I usually get the cheap tests from the pound shop and they are just as good! I usually pee in a pot and dip the stick rather than having to try to pee on a stick.

Just need to get over the shock now!! How long does that take? I still can't believe it. We have told our two very closest friends - one of them is staying with us so needed to give him plenty of notice as he is sleeping in the nursery - but even that hasn't made it feel real.

Hetty I think the shock takes a while I think the 12 week scan makes it change from shock/nerves to excitement - congrats and will see you in the pregnancy topic....

i tested around 7 days after my af was due and got my bfp :), i got the clear blur digital, worth spending the money on and geting the double test packet, it tells ya exactly how far gone ya are, i tested last sat it said 3 weeks + and after my appointment at the docs today im 6 weeks and due beginning september :), tho the good thing about the clear blue digital is it can detect the pregnancy hormone in your urine even when your just 1- 2 weeks pregnant ,tho the longer ya wait and def have no af the more likely you will be expecting, and you will have more of the hcg hormone in your urine, so wait 7 days and test then. good luck xxx
