Pregnancy blood test at docs - anyone had one?

I'm going to the docs tomorrow to see if they can do a bloodtest to check infirm pregnant as I am 10 days late but getting BFN on every test.

Has anyone had a bloodtest like this? How long does it take to get the result?

Anyone had a positive blood test after a negative pregnancy test?

I haven't had experience of a BFP after a few BFNs but my GP did a blood test to confirm my pregnancy and the result took 3 days.

Thanks Lola - wow - 3 days! That's gonna kill me!!

I do blood tests in a hospital opd setting...and if the doctor/gp writes "urgent" on the request form, we can get a result in an hour.

I got my result in 3 hours but it was a possible urgent case.
