Think I could be pregnant, when can I test?

Scared to write this down in case it is true but I think I could be pregnant. No idea about my cycle, not sure when last period was but some time before 23rd November. Unprotected sex once on 16th December (with hindsight may have been ovulating as v horny). No period yet but tiny dark bleed today but no period. Worried now as seems it could have been implantation bleeding? When can I test and get an accurate result? I'm scared, a long way away from home and my partner for 4 weeks and this would be terrible timing.

Test now. You will be able to get a decent result from a tesco cheapie, but for accuracy I'd say a clear blue digital is a good investment.

Can you talk on the phone/Skype at all? Or do you have any friends nearby you can confide in? The only way to know for sure is to test; and if it's a result you aren't prepared for then you will need support of some kind. Even if its on here!

You're probably still a bit early to be honest. Some people get an accurate result at this state, but you are probably best waiting another day or two. I'm told the Superdrug ones are very reliable. The CB Digital are very expensive and I'd wait until you've tried a cheaper brand and se a CB Digital to double check if it's a positive.

Thanks again. We can Skype/phone but the prospect of trying to discuss an unplanned pregnancy over the phone is awful. I feel so bloody stupid and cross with myself.

I have that periody dragging feeling too, maybe it will be ok? Never had "spotting" before though

Went out with my Mum and bought bridesmaid dresses today for my "dream" wedding in July all the while thinking - it's not going to happen as I'm sure I'm pregnant. Feck. I have to test don't I?

I agree don't ho for cb they only detect high amounts of the hormone which are only present further along. superdrug are the best for very early on with small amounts of hormone. hope you get the result you are looking for

Think I will test tomorrow. Can't bear if any longer. I'm drinking A LOT (Christmas) and can't in all conscience carry on as there is a chance I am pregnant and will continue to be
