Newbie seeking advice from other rainbow famlies

Hi all, this is my first post here so hoping I have put this in the right place! My partner and I are about to embark on the journey to motherhood. We have done a fair bit of reading but would really like to chat to others who have gone through the process, or anyone who has some valuable advice regarding lesbian parenting. We are in the process of finding a donor. We have spoken to our gp but it would seem we are unlikely to get NHS support from Devon and cornwall.
We would appreicate any advice or words of wisdom

Hi, wow what an exciting time for you! It may be worth you looking on Pride Angel, I used them to find a donor, they are prodominatley a connection website but they also have lots of advice both practical and legal for both donors and recepients so it may be worth you having a look?
