Hello all!!

So I am roughly 12/13 dpo, AF due on Wednesday (stupidly long cycles) I just tested with 2 Internet cheapies and both have the faintest of faint lines, so faint that I could convince myself that I am imagining them. However, I then did a first response and it also had a line!!! This time still faint but definitely not my imagination. This is promising right?? Surely 3 tests in a row all with some kind of line must be correct!!! I have taken many other IC tests over the last week and they were definitely negative so I do know the difference between a faint line and not iyswim.

Got absolutely trashed at my work do on Friday too after being so sure that it wasn't my month!

Congratulations! Nothing quite like the moment you see that extra pink line! FRER very reliable so yes, I'd say you're pregnant for Christmas.
Don't worry about the Christmas bash, prob not have even implanted then so not attached to your circulation. Dry Christmas for you though.

I reckon by Christmas Day you should have a lovely strong pink line to wrap up & give to DH (nothing like a pee stick to say I love you).

I tested this morning with fmu and it was a bfn. I tested yesterday afternoon with a test out of the same 3 pack (from poundshop) and it was v v v faint line. So god knows. But I am fu**ed off with it now. I don't know when period due for defo as cycles all over place, according to my app it's due Xmas day. I've got 2 pack of tescos test in cupboard so am going to do one of those Xmas eve night after visitors have gone. Got no symptoms at all except af type pains which I've had since last Thursday!

creamtea didn't you have a faint line with a test earlier in the week too? Hopefully your bfp will still come!! It's still early so don't give up hope yet! It is so frustrating though isn't it, I really hope my faint lines do become nice and strong so I don't have to go through another sodding 2ww anytime soon!!! Do you normally have cramps this early with AF? Because that's one of the things that has made me hopeful during the week. I normally only get cramps a day or so before AF starts and have been having then since last Wednesday, a full week before AF due! Fx for you!!

Preposterous - yes I had a v faint line on weds (morning and eve) with the 10miu IC tests, I ran out of them hence using the pound shop ones. Im same as you - cramps literally day of af, day before at most - but this has been over a week! That had made me hopeful too.

If you had a line with the ICs then that sounds really promising! Fx that the pound land tests just aren't sensitive enough and you will get your bfp in the next few days!

I am currently sat with my mum, who has just arrived to spend Christmas with us, I'm so desperate to tell her but DP and I agreed we would wait until Xmas day and test again. If the line is more definite on Tuesday then we will tell her then as a present! I had wanted to do that for DP but managed to keep my trap shut for all of 10mins

So I tested again this morning with another IC and then a clearblue digital, both pregnant! CB says 1-2 weeks so I finally now believe, YAY!!!!

Bfn on a tesco test just now preposterous, still had the af pains over weekend but no af. Got one more test so will try and leave till boxing day maybe. It's bloody frustrating! I think I'm out just another long cycle.
