Hello

I am SMEPing this month and am using OPKs for the first time (ICs).
I am currently CD11 and have been testing twice a day since yesterday afternoon. I haven't had a positive yet (which I expected) but the lines are getting stronger with each test.

Can anyone please share their experiences. Do OPK results vary from day to day or do strengthening lines mean ovulation is on it's way?

Thanks in advance, Katy x

Hi Katyann - sorry I can't be much help as I have been using the CB ovulation kit as you can't really misinterpret the smiley face! They are too expensive to use more than once a day and they advise you should check first thing in the morning so you might miss nearly a whole day of surge - which isn't ideal.

yes, that is my experience op. the test line gets stronger until it matches the baseline. afterward the test line disappears. good luck!

I would say lots of BDing now lol!! I used the Internet cheapies and my line was never as dark as the control line so I took the darkest line as positive. I did definitly ovulate as I was temping and got pg. :)

Oh and keep BDing for a few days after the lines dissapear just to make sure xx

Hi for me it was random!

The first few months I treated myself to the smiley face ones got the idea of when I ov'd and then moved to cheapies.
