I came off my implant 3 cycles ago and since I had it out my cycles are all messed up. We are supposed to be ttc next year but at this rate babies won't happen.
First month off implant I had no idea when I ovulated so that was a write off. Last month it was only 21 days and my LP was 8 days. This month my cycle was 22 days but with only a 3 day LP. I'm so upset that something is wrong. I would have been 4dpo today but have just started bleeding.

Does anyone have any advice please :(

Maybe go to the gp? Are you charting? I would give it another few months before you worry. My cycles were all over the place when I came off the pill. 25 days one month and 38 the next. I think they're starting to settle down now. I'm on cycle 7.

I think it's normal for cycles to take a while to settle down when you come off hormonal contraception. I think you just need to be a bit patient. If your cycles haven't settled down in a few months, then it might be a good idea to see your GP.

I'm using ff but not actually doing my temps bi have some cheapy OV sticks that I've been using. I did temp when ttc my DS but Havnt bothered this time. When I came off my pill when ttc first time it only took 1 cycle to get back to normal and DS was conceived month 6.

Unfortunatly I don't have a patient bond in my body so am getting upset already :(

is the implant progesterone? i was on a progesterone only pill and it took me three to five months to get my cycle back to 'normal'.. i now have very strong and obvious ov symptoms right in the middle of each 25day cycle.

nananaps · 21/12/2012 19:12

Patience!!!!
Cmon, give it a bit longer.
3 cycles is nowt..seriously.

There really is nothing you can do to hurry things up or wave something magic to make things perfect within a short period of time.

Just ride with it and give it a bit longer. A few more months at least.

Iwish · 22/12/2012 13:13

I'm not sure if its progesterone badguider. I only had it as it was one of the only safe things I could have while BFing. Didn't fancy the others lol.
i know you all speak so much sense but its sooo hard not to worry.
I wish I had a magic wand nananaps

Give it a couple more months.
If you're only using OPKs, they do not confirm ovulation, only a hormonal rise that comes before ovulation. You can have the rise but no egg be released. I would not be surprised if that is what is happening here.
You could try taking some decent vitamins if you are not already. I found when I took B vits my cycles became a bit more regular. Also, start charting your temp as it will tell you what is going on.
And relax... It'll be ok.
