Ovulation

Hey,

I've been wait for ovulation this month and I haven't seen it. I'm on day 21 of my cycle, I've been doing my temp, peeing on sticks and " listening my body" and I've had nothing. Do you think I'm missed it?! Or could I be this late?

Could be either. Ou may have missed it as sometimes the surge is over very quickly or you might be late ovulating. Have you had any periods of stress this month that might have delayed it?

Not that I know of. Been feeling what I thought was hormonal changes as I've been a bit moody and low in mood, which I thought I was getting to ovulation as hormones had risen. But now I'm unsure. I've also been feeling a little uncomfortableness in that area, again, a sign of ovulation. Is it possible to ovulation but not have a strong enough surge to show on the stick?

Oh and I've barely passed any mucus.

It's normal to just not ovulate sometimes. The odd anovulatory cycle here and there is normal. Otherwise stress and illness can delay ovulation. Or of course you may have missed it. The surges can happen in the afternoon and you've missed it by testing in the morning for example.

Have you had regular sex throughout your cycle?

I ovulated late this month (not ttc though) as in the lead up to ovulation the dc had norovirus and I was bfing a 14mo round the clock and then I caught it myself. I ovulated a week late in the end and my period is obviously a week late to compensate.

That's helpful. Yes pretty much every other day of not everyday. And we are ttc. Is it possible to ovulate early? Bcos looking at my bbt chart, my temp dropped and then shot up (it's highest) on the 15th day. Maybe I could have conceived and that's why no mucus?!
