Doff your top hats, lean on your canes, 'tis a Victorian Christmas for the BESH. Baste those turkeys in Victoria & Albert style, and maintain a stiff upper lip when you fill in the BESHtionnaire to see if you are cynical stoic enough to win a Baybee.

euro, you fashion fox!

There is all sorts of weird shit going on in my womanly areas. I have no idea what any of it means but basd on experience so far it will probably indicate some new massive fertility hurdle to overcome.

In better news, I have just been down to reception to complain that my room is noisy and they have moved me to a quieter one and takes £50 off the bill for the inconvenience. Hurrah!

TWinklyLittleStar · 29/12/2012 22:20

What sort of weird shit norf? Tell all distract me from menkulling

Good money saving effort! Anywhere naice?

Northey · 29/12/2012 22:32

Dublin. I expected better soundproofing for this price
But £50 off is ok, I guess.

Weird shit is nearly a week of faint brown discharge, with two instances of a single red splot of blood. This is all on paper - nothing actually reaching knickers. Am on CD36. Weird spotting started on CD31. I had sechs on CD6 and CD22 (plz admire our awesome sexuality). Last cycle was 54 days; the one before that was 43 days; cycles before ectopic were 31 days.

EuroShagmore · 29/12/2012 22:35

I've done loads of clothes shopping in the past few months. I had kind of stopped for a while, partly due to ttc chub and partly because in the early days of ttc I thought there was no point buying things because I would soon be in maternity wear. But it's time to move on (and embrace my fertility drug chub). So now I have a lovely dress and no where to go.

Jeff, the skirt is called the Nick Insert Panel Skirt, if you are interested.

Norf plz to be describing weird shit.

Northey · 29/12/2012 23:16

Oh. Addendum to previous weird shit description - now there is more blood on paper. I think this must be it now, and tomorrow it will cascade as usual. Bah. I'm not sure what I'm disappointed about. It was scarcely likely to be my month...

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 30/12/2012 08:41

Morning hags!

And norf did it descend into full blown droid? Mine did, thus removing the menkul and testing dilemmas, but I might have peed on an ancient fiver that we found behind the book shelves (it was from before TTC, when a negative was the right result, thos were the days). We had a bit of a meh-life-sucks etc chat and cry after the BFN (it still worked).

Sorry about the NYEs. I so know about it. Luckily we had the friend invite herself to stay (single, thirties, lovely) and we're gate crashing my sister's feast of rawness. I hope the hangover from yesterday will have lifted by then...

Happy (belated) anniversary, jethro! And YAY for fab husbands. Shopping is good replacement therapy as well, euro and I love that dress (but sadly don't pull that sort of thing off). Are you going for the norf option?

Why should we distract you winkle? Tell us all.

You were right, as always, about bitter, faif. But as we're also incredibly barren, maybe we should keep both. When I feel better I might post as victorian gentleman again. Now the head hurts!

Northey · 30/12/2012 10:00

It did, drizz, at 3am. So I got back into bed and also had a little cry. I don't know why exactly I'm upset. If I had been updiffed there would have been a scarily high chance of another ectopic, and I'd have lost my ivf entitlement to boot. I think the sight of blood just takes me back to thing I don't really enjoy remembering.

Now I need to sort out an urgent CD2-5 blood test when I get back home (which will be on CD5, so not much room for error).

EuroShagmore · 30/12/2012 10:02

Norf and drizz sorry for the arrival of Droid.

JethroTull · 30/12/2012 10:42

It's strange that sometimes the droid upsets us & sometimes not. It's the hope I think, that keeps us going.

I am having a quiet morning pottering around the house whilst SSG runs 15 miles. Yes, 15 miles. Far too far for me. I've written a list of things I need to do. That's as far as I've got.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 30/12/2012 12:41

Xmas Angry at our not so festive droids. Sorry it got you down as well, norf. Hope you get it out of your system pre-NYE. I am hoping there is enough space, that I'll be very merry and pissed tomorrow.

I agree jethro, it is the hope thing. And I had symptoms (but not the one month I was diffed, but hey) and then the disappointment is so much bigger. GRR. Writing a list is good. I wonder round the flat declaring SB needs to tidy up after himself (which he needs, but he rescued me halfway through a challenging DIY project, so I can't whinge!)

Right hags, I have a friend staying from later on today, so won't be able to check in. Therefore: a MASSIVE HAPPY NEW YEAR to the bitterest, barrenest BESHes in mankind. To many wins in the new year Wine am I alone in thinking that there clearly should be a festive wine, smiley, it could be a bubbly glass or wear a silly hat

TWinklyLittleStar · 30/12/2012 17:42

Check out driz, having friends and everything! I bloody agreed to work the early shift on New Years Day today, fucksake. I was distracted and grumpy by the shitbag teenage burglar having photos of his new baby on his phone Angry

I have largely not been menkulling for a change, but I think its safe to say my once regular droids are screwed - a week late last cycle, 2 days late and counting this cycle. I want the droid to hurry up so that I can get over the disappointment already. hugs bucket of prawns, norf & driz, and some festive smoked salmon too.

HWCA got "me" a breadmaker for christmas. I've barely been let near it. He's also hijacked the wireless speakers he got me. Thank goodness his hands are too large for my nice new gloves :)

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 30/12/2012 17:45

We just realised the car tax is out. MATV has shouted at me and I'm going to get a damn fine :( forgot to change the damn address when we moved. Grrr. And I have stomach ache and I feel stroppy. Angry so I have a dr appt tomorrow morning first thing for my day21 blood test that I will have to walk to in pissing down rain just as it will be sods law that I'll get stopped, then get car tax then walk home, in the rain. Angry.

northey I think it's therapeutic to have a cry when droid arrives, regardless of how much we 'know' it won't happen there is always that slight hope/expectation like Jethro says, every month. I suggest chocolate, hot water bottle and cuddles.

euro I love that dress, is beautiful!

twinkle love the name change :)

Happy New Year to you too lemon

jethro I happen to big fan of to do lists, MATV always says that I write lists of the lists I need but it's the only way to stay organised sometimes. :)

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 30/12/2012 19:50

Hello hags, I have been out of the loop for a long time and have just pinched Sister's computer. All I have time to say is hello.

TWinklyLittleStar · 30/12/2012 19:54

Oh and fanks tipsy, I thought zombies were soooo two freds ago

maamalady · 30/12/2012 20:13

Good evening, gentlemen. My esteemed husband and I have once more returned Home, after much travelling and visiting of friends and relations. We are both much relieved to have completed our journeying and are now in the process of compiling a selection of musical entertainment in readiness for a small gathering of close friends here on the morrow. Thus far, the styles of music are extremely varied in both age and genre, but we are confident that as a collective they will prove entertaining (even if not all of our choices show great technical or artistic merit).

Any suggestions for our playlist gratefully received! We are both feeling fairly cheerful at the minute - that will be mid-cycle calm hormones I suppose...

OComeAllYeFaithBaby · 30/12/2012 21:06

Evening chaps!

tipps I've done it twice now, been well over and didn't get fined! When was it due?!

Muchos sympathy for seasonal droids Angry norf is it not the hope of the ironi diff? Even though the odds are that natural conception would result in another ectopic, it must be hard to let go of the idea of proving all the docs and get not only the BFP and in the right place? Droid still feels like you've missed out on that. :) However, I am brimming with optimism that it will be your win wiv the IVF. Soon.

I am feeling like crap with a stinking cold/sore throat and am done day 1 of 3 in a row. Bleurgh.

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 30/12/2012 21:36

Faif it ran out end of November so is exactly one month tomorrow. Consulting with another forum which is full of men seems to indicate that they will either back date it or back date it and fine me £60-£80....

OComeAllYeFaithBaby · 30/12/2012 21:49

They just backdated mine. It was over 6 weeks overdue! Shock

SinkyMalinks · 30/12/2012 22:31

Salutation besh gentlemen.

I am embarking on a final nocturnal stint for my esteemed employers benefit.

Has all been a bit horrific so far to be honest, but 11 hrs I I and I'll be free (til Wednesday)

Sorry for the all the druid-al invasions. I am currently suffering the womble cramps, but suspect its just the metformin rather than anything more intresting (droid = drugs). I've done my usual and got bored with the slow increase of metformin so have wapped it up to full dose. Feel a bit sick. Hmm

Is anyone going out tomorrow? A naice houseparty sounds fun, but I felt dreadful tonight prior to come to work, so suspect I'll be watching tv quietly ony own (ghj's on nights from tomorrow). Rock on.

So. Anyone awake to entertain me? I can't guareentee I'll be able to respond, but entertainment always appreciated.

RockinaroundtheTippletree · 31/12/2012 12:42

Well, just checking in to say hope everyone has a good or at least bearable NY's eve! Here's to a much better 2013 for us all.

Car tax was thankfully sorted without any tears so to celebrate I bought a load of new make up and had a little make over in boots with a No.7. lady who I think took pity on me when I said I really have no idea with make up. Think she guessed from looking at me so now I am colour coordinated and nicely bronzed just to come home, clean the house and have a bacon butty with MATV! Grin

TWinklyLittleStar · 31/12/2012 12:53

Glad the tax was sorted!

Had my last BFN of 2012 this morning. Hardcore lifestyle changing starts tomorrow...

Happy New Year in advance, 2012 can Do One :)

Northey · 31/12/2012 16:19

May as well finish as you started, twink.

IVF super health for me from tomorrow as well.

I know I've said it before, but it does bear repeating - 2012 was utter arse from start to finish.

ArielTheBahHumbugMermaid · 31/12/2012 16:45

Certainly was Norf. Here's hoping for a better one for you xxx

JethroTull · 31/12/2012 16:56

NYE is always such a let down. Back in the day I'd spend a small fortune on an outfit, ticket to a club and a taxi home. I gave in a few years ago & admitted I had more fun sat on the sofa!

Anyway hags, wishing you all a successful and positive 2013.
