I just go a CBFM and I am on cd9. Can I start now or do I need to wait until next month? Really would like to start as soon as possible
Normally I am organized but after an early miscarriage ( or chemical pregnancy) I decided to try harder and to use the monitor???
Can anybody help, please?

I thought of this 1st cycle as a learning cycle. Also I forgot to mention that my cycles are 31/32 days...

Hi, have you read the instructions that come with it? They're pretty direct on when you can start using the CBFM. If you've got enough sticks I would say start using it now. It will work out your cycle and then the next cycle you won't have to use so many sticks (hopefully won't need it next cycle!)

Thanks for your reply. Yes they are direct about starting up to day 5, and to leave 3 cycles after mcs, but my hcg levels have gone right back to non existent and I thought if would get me used to the process. Also as I ovulate later withmy 32 days cycle Although on day 9 I should still have 1 or 2 days low before getting the highs....what do you think?

I would start. What have you got to loose? Smile I didn't get AF back after coming off the pill and I still started using a CBFM even though they advice not to. When you're desperate for a baby you try everything and anything don't you! Don't forget to use conceive plus on your high days as i believe that really helps. BTW in the end the CBFM didn't work for me as it didn't pick up my crazy cycles non existent after coming off the pill but I found the CB OV sticks worked better and eventually got me my BfP. Everyone is different so my advice to anyone TTC is try whatever you can afford depending on how desperate you're!

The only problem I can see with starting now is that i dont think you'll be able to tell it you are on CD9, if it's saying cd5 at the latest IYSWIM? Which might affect what days it wants tests from you in subsequent cycles?
But i'm not sure I'd let that put me off! Especially as you have longish cycles so shouldn't get a peak so early it misses it.
I never waited 3 cycles either - far too long! - Last time I started one cycle after mc and it worked!

Good luck

pearl thank you! you are totally right regarding what I have got to lose. I will need to buy sticks (extra) but anything is fair in this war against time!!!congratulations on the bfp!!!

kirrin that was a really good point, but I decided to go ahead anyway and your thoughts regarding my late peaks are also correct.

Thank you both of you for taking time to reply! I really appreciated to have support on this matter. I set the monitor this morning as day five meaning that tomorrow I should (if asked start to monitor)

Thanks again! :)
