Hi all
I will try to make this clear and non-rambly but I am a bit confused myself so apologies in advance and thank you for bearing with me.

TTC background : DH and I have been TTC unsuccessfully for 18 months. In that time, we have had no BFP, not even a faint line. I have had two laparoscopies to treat extensive superficial (stage 1) endometriosis. My cycle is normally 27 days. DH has not had any semen analysis done yet but is going to the clinic on Wednesday.

Last month AF was 3 days late and extremely painful but quite light and the bleeding was sporadic.

This month we tried very very hard to get pregnant. I checked my cervical mucus every day, we used pre-seed for the 1st time and I lay on my back with legs up the wall every time we DTD. We did it on days 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 15. I think I ovulated on day 12.

Today is day 31 of cycle. Here's what's happened so far this month:
Day 20 - 29 extremely tender boobs that woke me up in the night when I turned over
Days 24 - 31 period cramps but no bleeding
Day 26 a gush of clear discharge followed by a bloody gush
Day 27 negative pregnancy test, lots of creamy discharge
Day 31 negative pregnancy test, lots of yellow discharge

No bleeding so far, severe period-type cramps. I also have pain in my right shoulder on and off which has woken me up 2 nights and also hurt like buggery in the gym yesterday. I am also exhausted and a bit tearful.

I don't know what all this means. I suppose I am worried about ectopic pregnancy, or at the other end of the spectrum being peri-menopausal.

Can anyone offer some words of help or advice, or even just calm me down a bit? Thanks so much in advance.

Oh bless you. I have no idea what is happening, I'm sorry, but I couldn't just read and run. TTC takes over our lives and every little thing becomes a big thing. The only thing you can do to be sure is see a doctor. Sorry to be no help but just know that you're far from alone and that I'm crossing everything for you that you are healthy and just having a bonkers cycle xx

Thanks so much. Since my post my period arrived properly. So I think it's all ok. Having apple pie and watching Strictly on sky +...I'll be fine

It may well be that your endometriosis has recurred; this would perhaps account for the pain and heavy bleeding.

When are you next due to see the gynae consultant?. I would certainly seek proper medical advice asap re your current symptoms.

I would say that some clinics are far better than others; they should have done the semen analyses long before now.

Hi Attila I am not due to see my gynae again. Most recent lap was in July, he said the endo had grown back, he layered it all, said everything was clear and to make a concerted effort to get pregnant.

I can definitely feel the endo growing back. But there is nothing that can be done...best option is to get pregnant isn't it...

I could not read and run either. I have no experience or advice to give, just to wish you well and hope that 2013 is your year. x.
