weetinselchops · 10/12/2012 20:44

I guess it's time to start a January bus for all of us who had to get off the December, November (Oct, Sep, Aug) bus.

New Year, new beginning and hopefully start 2013 off with a bang, and a load of new bfp's!

weechops cycle 7 BFp due Jan 8

Who's with me?

I think I may know a Tattie San Miguel...
Mine would be rubbish, poss something like Gin Cheese, or Sloe Quality Street, if only I'd known this situation would arise I would have eaten accordingly.
Anyway roll on Saturday when I'll be hopping on the dtd train, as it were Grin

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 27/12/2012 21:48

green your baby name us lovely :-)

taking not great news on your dh being away... do you think there is a way around it? although if you put a positive spin on it it's another month of your back getting better and you feeling fitter and stronger?

jelly I had a month off opks last cycle but more so to curb my obsession. it worked in that sense. I don't take them as definite just a way to see if I am possibly ovulating.

polka how about Gordon cheddar quality (if you were drinking Gordon's and eating cheddar of course)

well I did an opk this afternoon. took about ten minutes to see that the second line was as dark as the control one so not sure whether to trust it. other signs are there and I'm on CD13 so dtd tonight as we are away tomorrow then again Saturday night and a cheeky last one Monday night if dh isn't too drunk :-)

anyone got exciting plans for new year?

polkadotsrock · 27/12/2012 22:25

You're right hayle that sounds much better. Thank goodness you were here, my yet to be conceived child is thankful!! Smile
New year fairly sensible for us- 5 couples at friends for dinner, wine and board games, I'm secretly VERY excited. It also means we can take ds so no need to pay exorbitant babysitter fees < you can take the girl out of Scotland...>

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 27/12/2012 23:31

That's sounds like my cuppa tea polka

I'm working New Year's Day so think we're just gonna have a takeout and DH will prob get drunk with my dad!

bugoven · 28/12/2012 08:46

My OH is DJing NYE so I will be there with him and a lot of family/friends.

2013 is going to be a big year for me. I'm getting married and turn 30 in November so hoping to keep sone important New Years' Resolutions.

  1. To exercise everyday and take back up sone of the hobbies I have abandoned while TTC due to sulking/overprotective OH
  2. To be more careful with money as saving for 2013 wedding/parenthood/multiple birth etc.Wink
  3. To stay positive and unrealistically optimistic at all times

Does anyone else have any plans for New Years' Resolutions?

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 28/12/2012 10:07
  1. also be more careful with money. I want to have savings and enjoy ML (when I finally get pg)

  2. remember friends bdays!

  3. lose weight, also been putting that off in the TTC haze and realised I could have lost it in the last 7 months!!

TakingTheStairs · 28/12/2012 15:32

That's a very good point Hayle, I shoudl see it as an opportunity to get my back a bit stronger.

I'm really looking forward to NYE. Got a private dining room booked with a gang of friends in a nice restaurant, so it will be like a dinner party without any of the cleaning/ cooking before hand Grin.

My new years resolutions are to take better care of my health and lose some weight before I get pg.... oh and a big BFP too!

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 28/12/2012 17:38

But obviously if you can squeeze a few quickies in Wink

PuggyMum · 28/12/2012 19:17

Can I join please?!? I have such a loooong cycle (35 days!) so BFP not due until 1st Feb....I'll be the last off so I'll check for anyone leaving anything behind!!

I've been on the boards before but we had a terrible 2012 with bereavements etc and only got back into TTC'ing in October.

puggymum ttc #1 3rd cycle BFP due 1st Feb

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 28/12/2012 20:15

Welcome puggy were a lovely bunch!

If your due 1st feb you might get your BFP the end of jan Wink

MotherOfCleo · 28/12/2012 21:30

Hi
Can I join?
I'm 11dpo and think this could be the month, this is my first month using opk's, so I know I OV'd, we DTD everyday for the five days prior and morning and evening on OV day. Grin I had pinkish spotting xmas day which went reddish boxing day, then brown then stopped (sorry for tmi!)
I think I feel a bit different, sensitive boobs (which basically makes me horny all the time lol) emotional, achy back, tired....feel good tho.
I am going to test on Sunday and have everything crossed I get a bfp, the witch is due new years day....I hope she gets lost! Grin
Heres hoping!

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 28/12/2012 21:34

Welcome cleo

Sounds promising!! FX for you.

PuggyMum · 28/12/2012 22:04

That's what I was hoping Hayle but I do need to lose a couple of stone and we are going to Florida on 16th Feb so if I get my BFP this time I can't go on any rides (I'd stand with the bags!!).... Am happy to ride the bus for a month or two while we get back into the swing of things!!

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 28/12/2012 22:11

You'll definitely knows by the middle of feb though so that's good.

I also need to lose 2 stone, have been putting it off thinking "it's ok I'll be pf soon" but 7 months on TTC I could have lost that. Hmm

I think I'm officially on the 2ww. Still going to squeeze a couple of extras in though just in case!

chocoloulou33 · 28/12/2012 23:42

hello puggy & cleo nice to have some more newbies on here, I only joined last week but find these girls such a support :) wish january would hurry up & get here already!! Am only 6dpo & going insane! X

PuggyMum · 29/12/2012 11:15

It's probably more like 4st I need to lose. I joined a lovely gym in April after we lost mil and had been going (and enjoying it!). But I didn't lose weight as but lost inches and looked and felt better! Got out of the habit after a holiday in Nov and went yesterday to get back into it!! I've joined ww online so am back to tracking my points and exercise. I start a new job next week so will need to get back into a routine and be organised for my lunches etc.

I need to learn how to make people's names bold.... Can anyone give me a quick lesson??

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 29/12/2012 12:17

name but no spaces.

ChristmAquarius1 · 29/12/2012 12:29

padster75 · 29/12/2012 17:21

Sorry ladies lol'ing at the squeezing in extras ... does this mean me and DH are just sex mad as we don't stop, well only for af as she is usually an unwelcome guest!!

I too ought to get back to going to the gym, but as I am not running the Manchester 10K again this year my motivation has well and truly buggered off ........ maybe swimming and when I get the enthusiasm back again I might venture upstairs to the gym part!!

Having really stabby pains in lower left side going into pelvis ...... 7 DPO any guesses???

padster75 · 29/12/2012 17:22

Oh bugger, forgot to say hello to waves

padster75 · 29/12/2012 17:22

Third time lucky

waves at new ladies .......... going for a lie-down quite clearly being at the laptop is dangerous today!!

HayleBoppingAroundTheXmasTree · 29/12/2012 19:10

padster DH ad I both work shifts so sometimes it's really hard to have the energy :-( wish we could though. Making babies is quite fun!

I'm going to count myself as 2dpo and officially out to symptom spot Wink

chocoloulou33 · 29/12/2012 22:42

padster was lol @ your posts. I'm 7dpo too. Got sore boobs 2day but I get that every single month so that's not v helpful rly!
hayle my dp works nights & most of them 12 hour shifts so he's pretty knackered so hope we did enough this month! X
