Need advice plz help

Me and my partner are trying ttc its our first and im a bit excited but scared to when can i do a test cos im due on period on saturday but only had unprotected sex sat is my chances very slim on conceiving?

You might get a positive pregnancy test, but the chances are quite slim...the earliest you should test is Saturday, or Sunday (if you can wait that long)!

If you're just going to have sex whilst ttc (and not do the temp. charting or using ovulation tests) then your best bet is to have sex everyday or everyother day around the time you ovulate (which is normally within the week-2 weeks after your period ends, but everyone is different).

CD1 is the first day of your period...ovulation is 'normal' between about CD11-21, so have sex around then!

So you only had unprotected sex a week before your period is due?
I'm afraid I doubt you are pregnant. Most women ovulate about 12-16 days before their period is due. The egg doesn't live very long, but sperm can live for a few days and so if you have sex in the few days before you ovulate that should do the trick.
It's easiest just to have sex 2 or 3 times a week throughout the month. Then, you should hit your fertile time before too many months have passed.

Hi, not sure if it will help but I read a post on another site a while ago from a natural fertility expert n how to tell when you are fertile. Its all about recognising your body's signs so may be worth a look if it doesnt work out this month?! I will put the link to the post at the end just in case!
