We have decided to await until Jan to TTC. I've always planned to give up alcohol, bad food etc completely when TTC (ie in Jan). This morning we got a bit carried away and DTD unprotected-I'm on day 11 of cycle. Would you recommend I come off all 'bad' foods/drinks etc from now? I guess I'm asking....what are the chances?

If you have 28-day cycles, it's possible that you're in your fertile window - you'd be fertile 3 days before ov, the day of ov and 1 day after, so using the theoretical 28-day cycle, you'd be fertile from day 11-15.

Best stop just in case you've struck lucky! x

Might be worth it just in case, fingers crossed! xxx

Personally, I wouldn't bother. I don't plan to stop drinking etc until I actually see two lines. And frankly the past 26 cycles would have been even more miserable living as "pre-pregnant".

Personally I'd cut down but not give up. Bearing in mind you won't be able to poas until after Christmas.
