Dh and i have decided to ttc dc2. I had my implant removed at 5pm yesterday. Today I have started bleeding and I have an awful headache. Is his some kind of withdrawal bleed?? And how long before I am likely to have a proper period? Might I ovulate before that? Just wondering if I should wait to ttc proper until after I have had a proper period, to help with dating etc? (I realise I would be v lucky to conceive straight away, but that is what happened with ds). Thanks

I had my implant out in June, bled/was already bleeding and ov'd according to the ov sticks the next month, got pregnant in sept so didn't take long.
I'd say about a month give or take, but everyone is different.

Good luck

Hi folks
Sorry for butting in, I can't really be of any help, but I had my implant removed 16 days ago and still waiting for first bleed. Not actually planning on TTC until feb as just stopped medication that takes time to work it self out of body but wanted to get to know cycles. How long should it take for first bells to arrive roughly?

Oops meant bleed not bells!

No worries ness it seems answers aren't v forthcoming!! Reading around there seems to be a huge variation in how quickly cycles return after implant!
