Oh and Sorry fatas lol just didn't want you under any false illusions lol I'm 20wks and now just can't wait to get to 24 Hmm

fatasbutter · 11/01/2013 09:28

Congrats for getting to 20 weeks! X

Kittenkatzen · 11/01/2013 09:30

Ooh schoolfriends on the fred how exciting is that!

kitty I think I must at least level with your 9 tests Blush....1 IC, 2 frers, 1 cbd, 4/5 more ICs, 1 more cbd.....that makes 9/10...I have stopped for now though, honest i might get one more cbd to check it goes up to 3+

fatasbutter · 11/01/2013 09:35

Lol at kittens tests! I kind of hate clear blue for making us so eager to increase their profits...bastards!!

kittykatsforever · 11/01/2013 09:43

I hate clear blue too ( although I did love that 3+ Wink) come on res I want to know if we were there at the same time, If you wernt with me I'm positive you'll know atleast one member of my family, there's alot of us!!

twinklestar2 · 11/01/2013 10:20

Haha kitten at the amount of tests you've been doing!

LittleMissSnowShine · 11/01/2013 10:27

fatas - I too am a bit rubbish at meeting other mums, I know a few from diff mum and baby groups who I'd run into at shops and mum&toddler groups and we'll chat and stuff but none have really become friends. But I have 3 or 4 friends who have kids anyway so I suppose I just didn't really make as much effort as I might have. And also...I weirdly quite like being by myself some of the time, work and weekends are usually so busy that my quiet days at home at DS are precious to me!! But when you're coming over my direction let me know :) Coffee! Also re: the clearblue digis, i didn't take one til I was nearly 6 weeks just to check if I'd get 3 weeks plus. The tests are only accurate-ish, blood tests are only way to accurately monitor HCG levels. If you've had a bfp all you can do is wait it out...and keep waiting... groan! I'm 9+6 and still waiting it out!!

wee - you too, coffee date!

res - Same as what I said to fatas - the digi tests are less sensitive in the early stages than the plain old pink dye ones. Really keeping fx for you, the wait to see if the tests are going to start showing bfps is very tense. fx fx fx

Thingymajigs · 11/01/2013 10:45

Just got my blood results back and everything is normal. Progesterone levels 56 which I think is good. And no other issues whatsoever. I'm so relieved, it's been stressing me all month. I've celebrated with fruit pastilles. I know how to live. Smile

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 11/01/2013 10:59

That's great news thingy aren't you about 12dpo today. How are you feeling?

Re meeting up. I used to live near Lymm, it's a lovely place (the bit I lived in wasn't that great).

Thingymajigs · 11/01/2013 11:10

I'm great thanks when. No symptoms whatsoever this cycle. I normally get sore boobs at this point but nothing is happening. I fancy a glass of wine tomorrow night so I might test tomorrow.
How are you doing?
fatas I hope everything is ok. Put your feet up and get a good box set on. Make your dh pamper you too.

resipsa · 11/01/2013 13:38

kitty I left in 88; that's how old I am! Did Mrs Kitchen teach you history?

resipsa · 11/01/2013 14:42

Thingy in my self-absorption, forgot to say Smile re your prog test. 56 is pretty high, I think. Sure mine was measured at 33 in the cycle I conceived DD. Maybe is a very good sign!
Strangely have no desire to POAS; instead just enjoying the fantasy of DC2 due on my birthday Grin. Setting myself up for a fall, me? Never!

kittykatsforever · 11/01/2013 15:48

Res would you have known either of my cousins then, Samantha howel or Jason Stewart ( oz)?

fatasbutter · 11/01/2013 15:56

Have got 2 more cb digis as was in the shop and superdrug was £11 for 2 tests but am going to stash them away until at least Monday!

res and kitty it is such a small world isn't it?!

fatasbutter · 11/01/2013 15:58

Also res if this one sticks it will be due 6 days before my bday and ds arrived 7 days late (here's to a shorter labour second time around!!)

LittleMissSnowShine · 11/01/2013 17:08

fatas - yes no more poas til Monday! Try and keep your mind off it over next couple of days and fx you get digi result you are hoping for :)

Thingymajigs · 11/01/2013 17:37

Really res? I'm getting quite excited now. Smile I'll join you in that little fantasy world for a bit. I really wanted a September baby, it would be great timing.

LittleMissSnowShine · 11/01/2013 19:26

Keeping fx for a slew of September babies for everyone on here!!

resipsa · 11/01/2013 19:35

kitty don't think so. Was only there for 6th form, actually. But I bet we know some of the same people. Small world indeed.
Aah, fatas + thingy - here's to exchanging stories of labour in 8.5 months!

resipsa · 11/01/2013 19:36

By the way, I've done no test, this is all just fantasy on the back of a tiny cyst!

resipsa · 11/01/2013 19:39

when Lymm is lovely. The woman who walks our dog when we're at work lives there and takes great pics of the dogs out and about when they stay with her ( when we go on holiday).

RedRobin1 · 11/01/2013 19:52

I am very ill today - just when I thought I was getting better I seem to have got feverish and fluey Confused am I out this month? Are there any chances if conceiving when I am so ill? We've only dtd once and not OVed yet but should OV in the next 2-4days. So annoyed with my body!

res I am still waiting for you to pee on a stick!! Fx fx fx

OP posts:
twinklestar2 · 11/01/2013 20:49

Yes you still have time! Try when you feel better?

We haven't dtd since Monday! Weds I had a meltdown and yest we started but couldn't finish. Weren't really in the mood. Hate forcing it!

I'm 34 today. Was dreading it turnin a year older but I thought I'd perk myself up and be positive and look to the future! Loads of mums have babies 34+, I still have time :)

resipsa · 11/01/2013 20:55

red hope you feel better tomorrow.
winkle the starting-but-not-finishing thing is a real TTC phenomenon. Never used to happen when just DTD for fun as if you didn't feel like it, you didn't start! DH still finds it hard sometimes to say he can't finish!

resipsa · 11/01/2013 20:57

And, PS, 34 is way young! Not sure I can even remember it!
