Oh winkle I'm sorry Sad it's so frustrating. I'm not sure what's worse: feeling bad yourself, or the guilt of feeling a bit bad towards innocent people! It's horrible Confused

And res it's those throwaway comments I've had to put up with all Christmas - about having more than one etc and its really annoying! Angry

RedRobin1 · 30/12/2012 19:44

Res and twinkle same as you one of my friends has already given birth, another due next week and one more after in feb, and one on the same date as my cp due date in April.

Few more mates trying and I have always told dh they will be pregnant before us, it's easier to be prepared for the 'bad' news beforehand.

Hi girls marking my spot before guy all forget me!
Still waiting for some of you to join me.
Winkle sorry its so crap for you hun. I'll be married 3 years in may so not everyone gets pg straight away! But I understand your pain. Next year will be your year. I can feel it in my fat gut!
Any poas from you lovely ladies??

BelissimaLol · 30/12/2012 20:48

Erm before you all forget me lol!

fatasbrandybutter · 30/12/2012 21:24

I'm not due to POAS for another 8 days sorry lol! I'm afraid to use frer early as always get my hopes up! And I normally have quite heavy spotting for few days before so ... (Don't really need to POAS at all in other words, but I always do!)

resipsa · 30/12/2012 21:41

No POAS likely here for A-G-E-S. CD 17 and still waiting for +ve OPK. Been, umm, a bit stressful lately (sorry again for over-long earlier post) so expected delayed ov but always on tenterhooks until I know I've DTD at the right time!

RedRobin1 · 30/12/2012 22:10

No POAS here for awhile either, besides I never do unless AF is late. Too many disappointments and all.

I have such severe cramping and still mild spotting and no proper AF Hmm why doesn't she just come and get it over n done with

OP posts:
BelissimaLol · 30/12/2012 22:27

To be fair I'm not an early poaser either. Have always been too scared of bfn. This time I tested when I was late two days and still almost had a heart attack when I saw the line! I texted it to my friend and took the test to work for her to look at!
So I won't egg you on. Will just wait patiently Grin

fatasbrandybutter · 31/12/2012 05:16

Grrrrr. Ds has been up since 2 o'clock! I have to get up in an hour. Why is he not sleeping?! There's nothing wrong with him at all! DH put him in our bed and he has been kicking the crap out of me ever since. Soooo tired - am sure everyone I speak to at work will appreciate my tired grumpy face Hmm Am currently watching some crappy movie on tv - not a peep from DH and DS since I stormed out of bed of course! Confused

Sigh...!

LittleMissSnowShine · 31/12/2012 08:57

res - bit of a stressful xmas! Family drama is the worst! Usually my sis or sil are at the centre of some but this year all was quiet and i really really appreciated
the change!

winkle - oh no, sorry :( in the last 10 days two of my friends have had babies - one has had a v tough time ttc and had a mcthis time last year so i was genuinely delighted for her. The other girl had twins. Our first DSs are 10 weeks apart and our second babies would have been the same except i had mc. Cant help but feel reminded of that and slightly dreading popping in for a visit next week...

red - hmm is that usual for you? Days of cramping and spotting before af actually arrives? Of course i hav my fx that its implantation bleeding & cramping rather than a precursor to AF...

Woke up hurling again this morn. Scan day after tomorrow and no spotting in days. Not exactly feeling confident but a wee bit optimistic anyway - 8+1 now, lost last one around this stage. Bit stressed til this week is over and done!

Kittenkatzen · 31/12/2012 09:53

res what a nightmare she sounds! And no of course it's not unreasonable for you to want a weekend away fgs, silly woman - just ignore her and carry on!

Thanks for winkle and red, it's horrible isn't it. We were forced to coo over BIL & SIL's 12 wk scan pics with MIL yesterday. MIL is lovely and I so wanted to give her her first gc and now it's just constant reminders that they've beaten us to it despite being younger and married for less time....which I know is selfish and mean spirited of me, but I can't help it :(

fatas grr at your ds for keeping you awake but only a little as I'm sure he's super cute too! Hope you're not to sleepy at work today!

littlemiss very glad you're still pukey :o

Looks like I'll be the next poas-er then...last few cycles have been 24 days but today is CD26 and no signs yet. However, have previously been known to go up to 31 days so not sure when to test really. Was half tempted to poas this morning (just to check if I can drink tonight you understand!) but MIL slept in our room last night and I couldn't get at my ic's.

Kittenkatzen · 31/12/2012 10:13

Oh FFS Kim sodding Kardashian is upduffed now too?? AngryEnvy

RedRobin1 · 31/12/2012 10:49

Kitten I had the same with my sil try beat us to it too but had a harder journey than us with assisted conception. However part of me still felt selfishly jealous that they were giving mil her first GC and not us.

Now I just think that no matter what when we have a baby mil will be equally happy for us and excited too. It won't be her first but it doesn't mean she will love it any less. Just have to grin and bear the cooing though and all the pregnancy talks for the next 9 months. To be fair to sil she hasn't been cooing too much knowing we are trying.

AF has arrived a bit late on new years eve and I am finally happy to say bye to this depressing year tonight :)

2013 shall bring happiness, bfps, pregnancies, babies and all the good things we didn't have this year. I think it's high time we deserve some happiness. Happy New Year to all. I can feel the winds of change (literally Wink).

LittleMissSnowShine · 31/12/2012 11:32

kitten - you can make your pee super concentrated by: drinking tea, eating salty food like crisps / bacon and not going for a wee. Then you can poas even though it won't be fmu! That's why I took my cheapo tesco test 4 weeks ago, wanted to go out drinking that night lol FX for you if you are poas! And yes I second that...bloody Kim Kardashian had a secret crush on Kanye, how dare she??!!

red - sorry AF showed up, but new year, new cycle, new start, new chances and new (hopefully) babies etc. [Wine] CHeers to that!

twinklestar2 · 31/12/2012 11:51

Really sorry she turned up red.

I think I'm just going to stop going online and never look at my phone! Can't bear all the announcements!

Kittenkatzen · 31/12/2012 12:14

red sorry she turned up but loving the PMA and better (I think) that she turn up today than tomorrow - new year/new start :)

hmmm littlemiss I'll think about that this afternoon then, although I'm convinced it would be -ve either way at this point as by my calculations I'm only 11/12 dpo absolute max.

winkle you're not allowed to stop going online as that would mean you stop chatting with us. So there! Wink

weechops · 31/12/2012 13:02

All the decorations are down, the house is in some sort of order again, and I have shed my Christmassy nickname.

Ok I feel a bit weird saying this, but I think I may have seen a very very faint line on an ic test!

I realised this morning that since I got a +opk on cd14 then maybe my cycle was back to 28 days this month, and that would make me 10dpo today so...... i poas and after nearly 10 mins the faintest of faint lines came up (when I squinted and held it up to the light)

I sent dh to asda to get more tests and hes come back with clearblue so I am not getting any hopes up until I poas tomorrow morning.

I feel a bit funny posting this since some of you are feeling pretty down just now, but I know that I always genuinely get excited when one of us gets a bfp, and I know you understand how I'm feeling. God, I'm wafling, sorry!

Ok am off to stare at the test some more, and will report back tomorrow. Fx!

Kittenkatzen · 31/12/2012 13:37

Oooooh weechops how bloody exciting!! Am keeping my fingers firmly crossed for a happy New Year's Day update for you!!! GrinGrin

fatasbrandybutter · 31/12/2012 14:03

Ooh fx wee!!

Thingymajigs · 31/12/2012 14:35

My fingers are crossed for you weechops. Smile I'll probably be refreshing this thread a bit too much tomorrow while I'm waiting for your news.
I went in to the doctors today as my CD3 results had arrived but the doctor wanted me to see her for the results instead. That in itself is a bit of a worry. I've also got to wait til the 11th now so I can get the CD21 results back too. Hmm But I'm assuming everything is ok until I'm told otherwise. Besides, we managed to dtd nearly every day so far this cycle so I'm hoping this will be the one.

RedRobin1 · 31/12/2012 16:44

Fx wee we may be off to a good start here. Keep us posted.

Our tree and decorations are down too. All set for new start and a better new year.

OP posts:
Kittenkatzen · 31/12/2012 17:18

Gaaaaahhh - inspired by weechops I POAS about 2.30 this afternoon and got a ridiculously faint, practically nonexistent line...but you reeeeeeally had to squint and hold it to the light, and it was after 15 mins when the test says it doesn't count after 10. And AF isn't technically late yet. Blush

I'm being stupid aren't I?? It really was the faintest line you ever almost saw. I'm just getting ready to spend NYE at a boozy pub do there no way I can not drink just in case Confused

Thingymajigs · 31/12/2012 17:53

kittenkatzen is there any way you can get another test at this time? I guess it wouldn't give a good result now anyway because its not morning. But it seems a shame to miss out on New Year fun if you aren't sure of the result. I'm sure you'll have fun tonight anyway though. Please update us when you know. Good luck!
red we've put all our decorations away and it feels good to start over afresh and bring in a new year. Diet starts tomorrow as well because my skinny jeans have to be shoe horned on to me atm.

fatasbrandybutter · 31/12/2012 17:59

Ooh kitten! You def need to do another one! Have u got an asda nearby?! Quick quick!

Kittenkatzen · 31/12/2012 18:01

Nope no asda...did another IC and def no line. Aaaaaarrrggh! I think it was sooooooo faint I'm going to have to discount it and try again in the morning a few days. Confused
