New and confused about LH surge and ovulation

Hi all,
Been lurking for a while just need some help to sort out my fuddled brain!

I got a smiley face on Clearblue Digital ovulation test on D9. Have DTD CD7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. One CD13 I got another smiley face before we DTD on the 13th. Does that mean that I'll then ovulate around now, and that the DTD around the 1st smiley face was wasted so to speak?

Should we still be DTD now or you can ovulate once ie around the 9th hence the LH surge or would ovulation be following the 2nd lh surge if it was likely to happen? meaning you don't ovulate then get another LH surge in the same cycle?

Sorry, should have said, I'm now on CD15!

By the sounds of it Em, you are having plenty of sex and all should be fine!

I too have had LH surges giving a positive only to not actually OV and get a second surge a week later.
