Hi all,

Was just wondering if you could recommend what pregnancy tests to buy and where from?
I know I won't be needing it quite yet as only had the implanon removed last Monday, but feel like I need to be doing something pro-active (as well as all the baby dancing)
Also, when would you advise I do take a test if AF does not turn up...no idea about my cycles yet!

Thanks in advance

Katy xx

I've ordered mine online from homehealth you get 10 ultra sensative ones for 2.30 so I can even test abit earlier (although try not to it gets so annoying lol) after I had my implant out my af still showed up on time as normal. But can be later, so best advice is to just test when u think u may be abit late if no luck and af dusnt arrive re test a few days later. That's why the packs online are pretty good, it just makes it too easy to test at times though lol x

ebay or amazon cheapies... for example.

And test when you know you're late as otherwise you'll drive yourself mad.

Good luck!

Superdrug ones are reliable and good value.

They are often on offer for two twin packs for £8.

I found it easiest to have a stash of the amazon cheapies at home. When I finally got a faint BFP on two Internet cheapies I went out and bought a first response early response (highly sensitive) twin pack which gave me a clear BFP. The cheapies will save a fortune but they aren't the clearest positives.

i have a massive stash of the internet ones! they are reliable but a bit fuzzy if you're testing early. same ones as from home health- they do opks as well.

i have followed up my bfp with a range of digi and non digi tests from superdrug- these are very clear.

i have used ebay cheap tests they do work and good for the needing to test i found but i also follow up with a diffrent test like first response :)
