I'm on clomid too stephy.....1st cycle.
I use the tests from about day 8 or 9. The LH surge tends to happen in the afternoon evening time and its best to reduce fluids and not pee for a couple of hours before testing. I just got my first positive....but DP not home until tomorrow evening :(.
I have a second scan tomorrow morning though so all should be revealed I guess. Are you being monitored??

Hi ladies

just a word of caution, I used OPKs for the first month I was on clomid and it showed up as positive twice, about 9 days apart (no idea why I even tested the second time) and then my blood test showed I hadn't even ovulated
I don't mean to sound negative but would just suggest not relying on OPKs too much and just do the deed as much as you can

No I have had day 21 blood tests llast month as that was my first cycle on clomid but apart from that dont see my gyno till feb now. I have asked about being scanned but my gyno says they dont do that so am just being left to it :-( x

Different clinics seem to have different policies unfortunately...
If your day 21 blood test showed you had ovulated then definately start to test from say cd8 onwards....good luck
