clearblue digital ovulation kit... but without the reader

Used the kit many months ago, and had a few sticks left so thought I'd have a go this month. But alas, I have lost the digital reader (with the blank or smiley face on it).

Peed on one of the inserts anyway and got two lines: Dr Google tells me that either this means nothing, or it means ovulation-station (although the line would have to be dark, and at the mo it's a bit faint). Does anyone know?

Sorry but the leaflet with my CB digi OPK says "you cannot determine the result from any lines that you see on the test stick"

Hi Brod. I use those sticks and although the leaflet says to ignore the lines I know that when I ovulate that both lines are present and similar in colour. I got pregnant twice last few months using these but ended in MC :( hope this helps you.

One line will be a control line and one line will be the test line. The control one will be the one that is always dark, the test line will vary. If you are having a LH surge just before ovulation, the test line will be at least as dark as the control line. A faint line can happen at any time of the month as there is always some LH in your body, you are likely to have two lines all or most of the month, it is the darkness of the second line that the digital reader looks at.
