I'm five days before af due and didn't use in early morn but disappointing nonetheless isn't it? Could have been ignorance is bliss for a couple more days! Arrrrgh why did I bother! Are these really that good, does it depend when you conceived also as the hormone may not have chance to build up yet? Hmmmmm best no more poas. Steps away from sticks and begins to cook tea. :-) positive face on as not getting those anywhere else!

5 days before af is really very early to test, so you may still be pregnant.

Put all tests out of sight/reach until you're due! And enjoy some distractions until then!

Good luck

Am now def getting cramps and backache which I always get before af, still :-) though, sounds mad but seems to trick brain into jollier mindset, good job no one except dd here to see me! Back to the cooking. Good luck anyone else and if you not sure then just don't poas. Or maybe do because now at least I know for sure before waking up to af instead in two or three days time.

I did a frer Friday tea time too 5 days before period due, it said neg. However I did 3 net cheapies the 10miu ultra sensative ones 1 on Fri morn and 2 Thursday, they all had very very very faint lines in the reccomended times but I think they didn't look right. Havnt done no more since. Cause drives me mad lol

WhenYouHearThatFireAlarm · 26/11/2012 14:24

Well fingers crossed beckie, it's just so tempting isn't it! Haven't got any of the those very sensitive ones, probably for the best, can't wait for af to just start though, just thinking what's the point testing early and torturing self, late period would confirm it with far less stress! Has been nice to get some responses on here this pm though and keep the perspective.

I think the internet cheap ones are better than frer, and they're cheap! Only
problem is they come in huge bundles so it's so easy to test :(

Beckie, yours sounds like a bfp to me! I thought a faint line was still a line...

beckie90 · 26/11/2012 15:17

I know that's wot I thought, but now I'm thinking it wasn't, my bf even said there was a def line although faint. But went to toilet half hour ago n had abit of pink discharge, and I normally get spotting before af, but I also get it in pregnancy due to cervical errosion that I have so don't know wot to think. I'm not doing another till I see what happens with this spotting, I waste wayyyy too much money :( x
