Average age for first baby?

Hi all,

Just curious. What age were you when you had your first baby/TTC your first?

35 when DS1 was born. Luckily fell pregnant very quickly so 34 when started TTC.

Ds born 2 days after my 33rd birthday, although they did start inducing him 6.30am on my birthday.

Started ttc DD1 immediately after our wedding when I was 23, we were lucky enough that it didn't take long so I was 24 when she was born.

Was 22 when I had my first. Wasn't planned and def wasn't ttc but I wouldn't be without now :)

36 when started TTC, and 2 months later Kaboom!!...will be 37 when DS1 is born, and thank my lucky stars every single day

Planning, 25 atm, will hopefully be 26 when I finally conceive.

Started TTC at 30, DS born 9 months later at 31 (we feel blessed)

Best decision we ever made

23 my baby was born yesterday :)

Got married in April after turning 30, conceived straight away and had ds when 31. Turned 32 and conceived straight away again and dc2 due when I'm 33.

Husband thinks he has 'super sperm'. I think we're just incredibly lucky :)

Err no ill be 32 still when this ones born.

Started ttc in January, conceived in February, I turned 36 in April. DS now 1yo. Have several friends going through ivf and I know we're extremely, extremely lucky and have never blabbered on about how quickly I became pregnant.

Wow there is a fantastic age range there girls!

I'm 29 (30 in 2 weeks - can't wait, I wasn't keen on my 20s much)

So, we'll just wait and see

Was just 27 (as in had just had my birthday) when we started ttc. 30 now and started fertility treatment 2 months ago (was trying for 12months before saw specialist then had to lose 5stone before treatment)

I was 20 when we started trying and I was 21 when DS was born.

25 but that was after 4 MCs

I was thirty-five and dd1 born at 36.I tried again at 38 dd2 born at 39.

I was 27 when I had DD and 30 when I had DS.

DD1 was born a month before my 37th birthday, DD2 born when I was 38, DS born when I was 41. Another one whose DH gets congratulated for his super sperm. Personally I think I should take the credit for my youthful ovaries .

Conceived DD1 when I was 21. She was born 6 weeks after I turned 22

DD2 was conceived and born when I was 28.

Almost 30! So hoping to have DC3 by time I'm 32.

Pregnant at 27, gave birth a month before 28th birthday

Started TTC at 24. Discovered I had fertility problems and gave up the idea. Got pregnant out of the blue at 41. DD arrived three days after our 19th wedding anniversary.

Takes me 18 months to get pregnant (at least I'm consistent!). So started trying at 28, had DC1 at 30. Started trying for DC2 at 32, all being well DC2 will arrive when I'm a month off 34!
