Hey ladies

I'm after a bit of advice. I had my implant removed on 1st November as I had been bleeding for almost 2 months (just little bits most days). The bleeding stopped the day after removal and I had what I thought was my period for 3 days from 8th November.
Any who before having DS in sept 11 my ovulation date was usually cd 16/17.

Do you think it'll be the same now? Or will my cycles change. We dtd on cd7 and cd10 and didn't use protection. I had ewcm on cd11 and cd12 which makes me think I may be ovulating earlier. If I ovulated today cd13 what are the chances of sperm still being alive?

We aren't ttc but weren't planning on baby no2 till next year.

Thanks ladies xxx

Sperm can live for up to a week inside you. Certainly the cd10 sperm could be fresh enough for conception if you ovulate today or tomorrow.

Ooh really. I thought 3 days max. Thanks Hun.

Do you think my cycles are likely to be the same as they were pre-baby? Or do they usually change?

I've not had a baby myself but I believe having a child can radically alter your cycles

Thanks Hun you have been v helpful.

I'm getting v broody at the mo. kind of hope I get pg but my DS is only 14 months old.

My cycles were very different after coming off the pill. I had a regular cycle before the pill but it took 10 months to settle in to a regular pattern when I stopped taking it.

There's no real 'safe' time to have unprotected sex. According to my dates, I got pregnant on CD6, just after AF finished! If you aren't TTC you need to look at alternative forms of contraception.

Thanks Hun. I think af is due around 4th December so will wait and see what happens. I would be ok if I was pg, would just be a bit sooner than we planned.

I'm getting some cramping today, I think I'm 4/5dpo. Feels similar to what I got when I was pg with DS but not this soon. Suppose it could just be af cramps but not usually this early?
