Charlie. I would definitely recommends acupuncture. I had it again today and I feel so relaxed. I first had it on cd9. The needles were put in both my feet and ankles, this is for circulation. In both hands and wrists, this is to level out my ying and yang, the ying being the first halfof the cycle and the yang being the second half, by checking my pulses and answering some questions, she knew it was my yang we have to work on, I also had a needle in my forehead for stress. Today because I got a pos ov I had needles in my feet, ankles, legs and just around 1 wrist, she said she was opening my conception channel and 1 in my forehead for stress. And 2 in my lower back she also gave me a chart for tempting, this is my first time tempting. I will go back next week, she said it will be different again so i'll let you know :). My last 2 periods on Clomid have been the first 2 days of brown blood then 1 full day of normal blood and then stops, I believe it's the Clomid. X

It must be the clomid, mine used be heavy for at least 7 days. However I'm not complaining! Just means I can start bding earlier! I have decided to take last cycle, I have an appointment in May so we shall see what happens. How I would love to have to cancel that appointment. I'm going to have to be a bit sneaky this month, dh doesn't want to feel pressured, so i'm going to have to use the art of seduction everytime I want to get him in to bed! Bless him! I told him I wouldn't chart or do opk's as he thinks I'm obsessed and thinks that's whats stressing me out. But i feel if I dont, I wont have a clue when to dtd! Is acupuncture expensive?

Mumalah I looked online for my erea and found a acupuncturist for 15 pound per session, the others were around 45 pound. It really does help in my opinion. I really am quite amazed at how it is helping me. I am now in the 2ww and also been told to put an hot water bottle on my tummy while on the 2ww. Wishing everyone lots of baby dust :). X

When do you count day 1??

Today AF kinda arrived, ie light staining on pad, fresh red blood when I wiped a few times throughout the day, nothing I the toilet!!

Do I found day 1 today or wait for perhaps heavier AF tomorrow??

This is my 5th cycle, now on 150g, think I'm over thinking it but I'd love your opinions!

Aalaa don't count this as cd 1 it has to be a proper blood flow so wait till the next day Hun. Hugs all xxxx

Mumlah - good luck with your last cycle of clomid :) think my dh is the same I'm trying not to put too much pressure on him so not telling him when I'm ov'in etc!!! Fingers crossed for you :)
Mazzie- does it help with stress?! I need something to help de stress me! I'm also on the 2ww and have a hot water bottle at work as its permenantly cold so ill keep it on my tummy!
Aalaa- I wouldn't count it as day one, is it just as light today?

I'm on cd 24 had really sore bbs since cd 20 but its just gone now I keep getting slight period cramps every now and again but nothing major so have no idea what's happening! Through my unlucky experience it's probs just af showing her face! So not getting excited or testing, tbh if I do get af as disappointed as ill feel I'm looking forward to starting the 2nd cycle and actually being monitored to see if it is working! So we 'll see !anyone else on 2ww? Xxxx big hugs xxxx

Hi Charlie. Not once have I felt stressed since my acupuncture. I was terrible for stressing before I started it. I'm on cd17 now. If no af by the 30th I will test. I am so glad I found acupuncture :). X

Has anyone else been told that the NICE guidelines have changed and that there is no longer a requirement to have a scan on day 12??

My trust have NEVER scanned me anyway lol!

Alaa never been told that lovely I get scanned every cycle twice if need be are they telling you they r not scanning you no more if so don't take this just tell them you need to be scanned so you no its working and without the scan things would be a lot more stressful for you ... Blindkitty y do they not scan you lovely how do they no its doing what it's supposed to do x .... Waves to all the other girls xxx

My trust aren't scanning me either just day 21 blood test on cycle 2 and 3 xxxx

aaLaa I'm at Kings ACU in London - I was given three rounds of Clomid, with a scan on CD10 first month to make sure the dosage was correct. If I want to be scanned for remaining 2 months, I need to pay for it. But we're self-funded, not sure if that makes a difference?

So I'm in my first 2WW since Clomid and so far it's interesting... I had a positive OPK on Monday, so we DTD on Monday & Tuesday but didn't manage Wednesday. Usually after ov I immediately have sore boobs, and 2-3DPO, I usually have a bit of spotting, but nothing this month...though nipples are slightly burning. I'm taking it as a good sign, as maybe it means I had a "stronger" ovulation this month resulting in better progesterone production? I know I've read that it's lack of progesterone that causes the PMS-like symptoms not the progesterone itself. Anyone care to confirm or deny?

I'm another acu fan. I've been doing it since September and does make me feel relaxed. Tho last week, my acupuncturist was very chatty the whole time and didn't leave me on my own. I love her, but I thought about asking her to leave!

Think I'm going to restart it next cycle. I was convinced I didn't need it. I've only been bbt'ing for 2 cycles but my last cycle had a perfect chart (on clomid) and this cycle is all over the place (no clomid) - wondering whether I really do ovulate without clomid now?

can i ask what sort of symptoms ppl have been getting on clomid? this is my first cycle and so far i feel all over the place! even though i have pcos i do have a period every month but the cycle lengths are erratic! Usually i get pmt for about 1 week before af arrives and i dont think i have really had much even dh has commented on how much better i have seemed, also i get sore bbs about 2-3 days before af due but i had sore bbs from last friday to about tuesday and this seems to have disappeared, again normally i get one day of really bad period pain the day af arrives then it goes and i have had on and off stomach cramps for the last week nothing major just noticeable only for a few minutes at a time then it goes- only the last two day i have had a few like "waves" of pain that were quite painful then nothing! i dont really know when af is due,i think its due tomo but not 100%, I know clomid has lots of side effects and my body is very unreliable anyway but just wondered what everyone else has been experiencing?

i need to chill the eff out i think im def going to have a look at accu or relexology!!!!

charlie the only side effects I had was slightly sore nipples and hot flushes. My friend gets 'clomid rage' but I haven't noticed any chnange in mood x

Charliedrinks u sound like me describing my symptoms on clomid how strange lovely my pmt calmed boob tenderness like your cramps in tummy like yours I did have hot flushed a few times that the only difference I think it plays a part in balancing all your hormones differently and all these changes make us think and assume all kinds lol you r not the only one who symptom spots and thinks this is it if we r all honest we all do it I been that convinced in my own head but told everyone else I don't hold much hope this cycle but then on the sly looking at prams & nursery items how sad ... But it's because we want this to happen more than anything in the world lovely it's such a hard hard journey that I hope we all reach the end of soon I am going to look into acupuncture this month get some prices ready for when I start my new cycle back on clomid good luck all an big hugs have a lovely week x

Charlie it's my first month on Clomid too. On CD 2 - 6, while I was actually taking the tablets, I was getting hot flashes at night in bed. Now that I'm in the 2ww, I noticed that I've been irritable - mostly on 4dpo, but a little yesterday at 5dpo as well. I've had absolutely no spotting (hooray!) which I usually get a few days after I ovulate, then it goes away from about 5 - 8dpo and then returns for a few days before I get my period, which is usually about 11-12dpo. Usually have very tender breasts, but they're fine this month. Have had some twinges in my tummy, but I'm putting that down to more exercise this month. Because I know symptoms on Clomid are unreliable (because it may just be the drug!) and because I've stepped up the exercise this month, I've been able to attribute everything to those two factors and haven't done much symptom spotting, which has been liberating!

BTW, my acu says it's a good idea to see her weekly while on Clomid as it can really mess with your system. I had dropped down to seeing her every two weeks because of the cost. Not sure if she's scamming me, LOL>

Thanks meluv and lastbox :) I know I'm just making myself crazy! Meluv- I even have a baby name app on my phone- already have the pram I want! Again saved on my phone! It's sad but like you say it's just cos we all want it so much :) it's do reassuring to know that others do/ feel the same though cos I'm sure dh thinks I'm booloo!!

So today I have spotting only when i wipe and its more ( sorry tmi) pale brown ! which I never get af usually just comes on full force!!! I wish she'd just show her ugly face so I can't start with cycle 2 with clomid!!! Although not looking forward to the hot flashes and mental dreams! But hey go I can cope with that!

Last box- I was gunner ask how often you go to accu so your going every 2 weeks ATM??I'm Unsure as to try accu or reflexology ATM dh doesn't think either! He thinks its a waste of money! But don't really care what he thinks anything is worth a try in my eyes! Xxxx

Hi ladies. I'm on cd21 and had my 3rd session of acc today in this month's cycle. All day I had headache and during the acc it went away :). Even if I don't get preggers this month I'm definitely going to carry on with the acc :). For the first 2 months on Clomid I had 2 days of brown blood and 1 day normal period and that's it. Charlie, reflexology is great I love it. It's so relaxing and helps with all aspects of your health. It was a god send for me when I was preg with my lb, it helps me with cramps atm aswel. I had really bad cramps and headaches when I first started clomid but since havin reflexology I hardly get them at all. Tbh I think alot of it is down to the fact that your relaxing which always helps x
