Hi everyone. Haven't been on for a while. Hello to newbies. Sorry but I dont have time to read through 200 + messages since I last posted!

Well third round of clomid, af just turned up :( feel gutted. 50g

I think I have worked out I ovulate around cd19. I had scan first month and showed ovulation cd22-25. Was meant to have blood test second cycle but that was over xmas so I didnt and was a 50 day cycle. Then went to hospital last week for cervical biopsy which was awful and didnt feel like bloods after that. I also got pos test stick on second cycle, didnt do 3rd cycle.

My next appointment is end april. Hubby is going to do sperm sample by yhen and im now wondering if its him.

I dont know what the next step is. Arghh its so frustrating x

We started ttc nearly a year ago. I had been in a combination of mini pill and mirena coil for years. I had one or two straight forward 28 day cycles then they went crazy....anything from 35 to 50 days. I got a stupidly high fsh result and mega low amh, all scans, semen tests were normal. So i think clomid was offered as at ny age they couldnt offer anything else. If i'm honest i was wary of taking it but thought i would give it a couple of months and got lucky that first time. I rang clinic on fri morning but the nurse said that at 43 i could expect some anovulatory cycles. Tbh...that shocked me as i thought that was part of clomids job. Dh is in army so timing isnt great....we have been away this week and had so hoped to catch the egg. He goes back oop north today so feeling poo about it all.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I posted on the old clomid thread once or twice, and have lurked here ever since. I have just started AF on my 6th cycle of clomid. So upset. Luckily I have been given 2 more cycles as they think I am responding well to it, but as it's been said before, ovulating is only half the battle. My last 2 cycles I was raised from 50 to 100 mg. I had a 2mm folicule on day 12 this cycle, I really thought this could be it. (Last month it was 1.6 on day 25, so not so good)

I just wanted to say hello to everyone, and give you all a big virtual hug. I've been following your stories for some time, and they are similar to mine. So upsetting. Trying to keep positive is so hard, but I wash you all the best of luck and BFPs asap!

Npg sorry about af lovely try and keep positive can I ask how come they have left it so long to do a sperm test on dh if u don't mind me saying all these test should be done before they give u any help at least then they no exactly what the problem area is Hun instead of giving u a pill an sending u on your way after all you been through the past few months it may not be clomid u need lovely speak to your clinic an raise all these issues good luck an big hugs xxxx

Calibee u r so right this jorney is so hard lovely but at least we all have each other to talk to on hear an we r all going through the same jorney so we no what it's like ... Your age should not matter to the clinic right now they have agreed to help an treat you and that's what they should do tell them u want scans or bloods an don't give up till they agree lovely ... I no u have lots of added pressure with your dh being in the forces and being away a lot it must be so hard but don't give up lovely like I said clomid is working for you maybe ask if they can give u anything to thicken your linning or google an see if there is things u can buy to help with this good luck an big hugs lovely always hear for a chat if u need it xxx

Daisydaydream welcome hunny glad you have posted this thread has been quiet for a while we all need to be hear an help each other can I ask did u say your follicle was 2 mm on one cycle an 1.6 mm on another cycle I just want to make sure that's right what am reading Hun ... Because I've have looked up an done lots of research on clomid and most clinics don't look at follicles under 10 mm they say they are not big enough r u having bloods lovely and if so what r the results am sorry if I've read your post wrong bug hugs xxx

meluv I just got a BFP honey. Am trying not to get too excited as it's too early at 1-2 weeks to celebrate. Amazing though!! x

Congrats Alexandra. I had a feeling you would get one! Good luck to everyone else. Clomid does work for some lets hope it's all of you, if not go to plan b. don't give up whatever happens :)

Alexandra woo hoo hunny am so so happy for you I had a mad feeling u were with the things u have had what cd r u now am cd 22 the wait is so annoying what dose were u on lovely an how big was ya follie an what cd was scan when did u bed Rock an when do u think u ovulated give us all ya juicy bits so we can have a go of your method xxxx these r for u toast xxxxx

Ok meluv so I was cycle one, had an 18mm follie on day 19, then a smiley face OPK on day 20 so dtd on the 19th and 20th a couple of times around that but that's when I think we got it. I ate really well, loads of fruit, veg, nuts, full fat milk, protein. Kept my tummy warm leading up to ov, did exercise leading up to ov, and also did weekly acupuncture. I have no idea what helped and what didn't but that's everything. Oh and no caffeine.

I am so excited but so nervous too. I'm only CD 12 today so really early days eek. Either way I feel very hopeful about clomid helping people who aren't ovulating, to ovulate. Am just hoping now and keeping myself as relaxed and healthy as poss. When are you testing? I tested at 11 days past ov and it was on clear blue that I had a clear positive and first response, just a faint line. Really hope it keeps holding and getting more and more positive x

Bit deflated after my scan this morning, app no change still 10 and 12mm, they have just asked me to have day 25 bloods, then maybe 28day bloods.

Planning to dtd, use opk's and hope for the best!

Mine was 9mm, on day 13 and then grew to 18mm by day 19, don't give up hope yet, fingers crossed. I know how deflating it is though. Are they going to scan again? Any idea how long your cycles are on clomid, can't remember which cycle you're on? x

Alexandra am so happy for u lovely really am take things so easy now .. Did u have cd 21 bloods done if so what was your score and did you have any other symptoms apart from the browny pinky cm have u any symptoms now sorry for all the questions xx am cd 23 and just got my bloods they showed I've ovulated my score was 34.9 anything over 30 is ovulation they say xxx

yay meluv you ovulated, hope you caught it! I don't know what my score was as they said they can't give it out over the phone, I'd need to get my GP to request etc, but then she caved in and said it was over 30 so I only know that xx

Brilliant news about ovulation meluv.
I just wish they would damn well scan me and let me know whats going on. Cd22 today...still no signs, just the gripey ovary pains I've had on and off for last couple of weeks.

I'd've had 3 cycles, they were 28 days, 25days then 52 days!!
