My last Af was Dec 22 which was actually 4 days early which is not normal for me. I am usually 28 cy dead on. My question is how do you know if you did not ovulate on a cy. I figure that I would have ovulated today but when I checked my cervix it was low and the mucus was thick and too creamy, not egg white consistancy at all. I have been ttc for 4 cy's now and this is not getting any easier especially if I am going to start skipping ovulation. Any tips or answers...please and thanks!!

Hi Melliek, a good friend of mine has one ovary working. She ovulates every other month or there abouts. The months of no ov, AF comes earlier and is shorter. She has totally taken control over her fertility though and knows exactly when she;s ov'g by taking her BBT temp every day. If you don't know much about this, have a look at www.fertilityfriend.com. Download the handbook and read up on it. Then you can subscribe free. The computer will interpret your results if you're unsure. I used it to conceive this baby too along with OPK's. IT gives an amazing insight into your body!!!!!!!

Thanks Quackers...the only thing is I don't know if i'm up for doing the BBT.I have tried just to follow the mucus and cervix positioning because I can read the changes in my body well, and its easier!
So, when your friend didn't ov her AF would come sooner? That makes me wonder.

Yes her cycles are 21 days if she doesn't ov and her BBt temps are all over the place. The month she ov's it's the normal 27 days ish cycle with a clear raise in temp - sorry haven't replied sooner!
