Not sure if this is best here or in mental health but hoping somebody has some advice. My fiance and I want to ttc in the next few months. We're both 32, earn reasonable money and are just feel now is the time.
However I am on Venlafaxine for depression and anxiety. I switched meds back in August after a GP fuck up resulted in me feeling suicidal. I now feel well, enjoy life, my job and feel motivated to do hobbies etc again. I am on a waiting list for pyscho-dynamic therapy. For contraception I have a copper IUD.
I am concerned about ttc and Venlafaxine. From what I have read there doesn't seem to be much evidence Thayer it has teratogenic effect-shirts or increases mc risk. Is my GP likely to take me off it or change meds. Has anybody else been pregnant on Venlafaxine?
