Hi all, I hope you can help me. I am trying to get pregnant with my second child and currently monitoring ovulation by looking at my discharge. I had lots of clear liquid yesterday and getting thicker today, have I missed my chance to get pregnant this moth? i read that after the clear liquid you only have about 12-24 hours? i have irregular periods so this monitoring business is all very complicated for me! thanks

If you have irregular periods then chances are you are not regularly ovulating so "signs" can be misleading.

CM is actually a poor indicator of ovulation happening.

You would be better off having blood tests done to see what your hormone levels are like. This is far more accurate than looking at cm.
